The house was perfect for our visit to Sewanee. The location was walking distance to restaurants and the college. The house was so cute and comfortable. Check in was very easy and the house had everything we needed. I would love to stay here again!

Great home
We went for a wedding and the house was perfect! The master bed I slept in was very comfortable! Had everything we needed!
Clean, spacious, peaceful retreat in Sewannee. The house had everything we needed, and is just minutes away from Sewannee campus. We will definitely try to stay here every time we are in the area in the future.
We had a very comfortable stay at the Historic Hawkins House while in Sewanee for a wedding. The location is excellent, with easy access to the shops and restaurants of Sewanee and the university, itself. Check in and out were super easy. The kitchen was very well equipped too, which made traveling with our toddler so much easier!
We stayed three nights. The property was amazing having the fire pit was amazing. Everything about the experience was amazing and it was super close to the blue chair and other things on campus..
Really nice hose, very close to the Sewanee campus. Great for visiting your student, or attending a campus function.

Charming, peaceful home
Hawkins House is a comfortable, well-located, serene place to stay. I highly recommend it. The house was spotlessly clean and stocked with everything you could possibly need or want. It will be my first choice for a place to stay when I return to Sewanee.
We had the perfect weekend staying in this house for Sewanee Homecoming. Plenty of sleeping and living space for two couples and two kids (ages 3 and 5). The house was very clean and comfortable. We could have easily walked to campus!
This was our second stay in this house. We have a child at Sewanee, and stayed here at the end of last semester, and this time at the start of the new one.
The house is well equipped, comfortable and clean. Everything you need for a stay away from home.

Wonderful, Charming, and So close to campus!
We had an amazing time during our stay at the house. It was convenient, charming and had absolutely everything you could need! The fire pit was great. We cooked a big dinner one night and then sat at the dining room table, all 8 of our guests. The hosts allowed us a later check out to accommodate the ceremony on Sunday and people traveling to the airport. Thank you for the many happy memories. We could not have asked for a better experience.
Stayed in the Hawkins house during alumni weekend for SAS with another friend. The house is the perfect mixture of vintage Sewanee charm and modern convenience. I grew up there and this was a perfect way to recharge on the mountain. Would 100% stay there again. And I truly hope to!!! Kathy was exceptionally helpful and communicative and they have really given this beautiful old Sewanee home a rebirth. ❤️
