The living room’s cathedral ceiling and soaring two-storey windows frame breathtaking western views of the wetlands. Also on the main floor, you’ll appreciate a convenient 2-piece powder room and a laundry room. Step outside to the walkout deck or the screened porch, where you can take in the serene natural surroundings. In the evenings, gather at the fire pit in the wooded clearing—an ideal spot for storytelling, stargazing, and creating unforgettable cottage memories.

Gorgeous house, very clean, as advertised. Straight forward and fair processes to book. Very convenient location, short drive off highway and no dirt roads. Would visit again.

Good, but not great

The home itself is excellent, with the exception that it's very echo-y; everyone can hear anyone regardless of which room or which floor they are on. That being said, it is very spacious, has everything a large group needs; unfortunately, it's missing a river or lake that you can jump into or swim in. The hot tub is great, the 2-person sauna is great, the Muskoka room/gazebo is great, the fire pit is great, all of the amenities are great. It would have been nice to be able to park the vehicles inside the spacious garage and have access to the entire lower level (an incomplete games room, perhaps&!&). If it's a getaway and isolation you're looking for, this is the perfect place for you; however, keep in mind that it's about a 20 minute drive to Huntsville and most venues. It was enjoyable for our family and a good place to meet up, catch up, and create memories.
