Willow Woods Cabin Retreat

OPEN NOW. Enjoy this cozy semi off grid tiny A-Frame tucked the dense forest of Westlock County. Less than an hour from Edmonton. Here you can relax on a private 2 acre parcel and enjoy the privacy of a quiet acreage subdivision that is only a couple kilometres south of HWY 18. Property is very secluded and peaceful. It has a queen size loft sleeping bunk and plenty of space to lounge on the main floor. Including a pull out couch/futon if needed. Cabin is a perfect getaway from the city and comes with a brand new beachcomber hot tub that will be running 365 days a year. It’s more of a “glamping” experience. There is no running water or bathroom. But there is an outhouse and fresh jugs are provided for the hot/cold water dispenser. During the summer season there is the option to go down the road to the Echo Lake campground and use the showers they have. It’s about 4-5 minutes south of the cabin. Fresh, dry tamarack is also available on site to be purchased for firewood. Please bring cash if interested in firewood. Bedding is provided but guests are required to bring their own towels. Guests are also responsible for maintaining proper sanitization levels in the hot tub during their stay. I will walk everyone thru the necessary requirements - it is very straight forward. A cleaning fee and/or water change out fee may be applied if the hot tub rules are not followed. Feel free to reach out with any other questions about the cabin and/or the area. Thanks for visiting!

    Such a sweet little spot

    It was so nice to find a place to unwind for a couple of days. Very cozy! We got in after dark and it looked so romantic with all the lights done up. And what a treatvit was to have a hot tub! We will be back soon.

    Disappointed with bed and small awkward layout in cabin, well secluded for privacy, clean but needs a couple more appliances such as a griddle/hotplate, could use a plastic wash basin for dishes… We thought it was raining on sunny days but it was sap from the trees! Overall, relaxing and quiet but needs more comfortable bed.

    A Relaxing Anniversary Getaway

    My husband and I decided to take a weekend away to celebrate our anniversary, and found this cabin. It happened to be very snowy and super cold during the weekend we traveled, so we couldn't make use of the fire pit or the walking trails and our butts nearly froze to the outhouse seat, haha.. but despite the weather, we had a lovely time together in this cozy and tranquil cabin. The hot tub was fantastic! Tyler was a great host, as well. We'll come back again, for sure... but maybe in warmer weather next time, haha!

    All of the negative reviews are accurate. Cleanliness is a real issue particularly kitchen and throw pillows. Rundown, old,needs updating.Host designee unfriendly and no follow through. On site laundry closed and locked. Lack of inside security lock on cabin. Positive....location, location, location.
