Most enjoyable! Had a 2 night stay and the place was wonderful! Very clean and the log wood fire was amazing. Quiet neighbourhood in a nice location. Would stay again!
The cottage was ideal about 1/2 walk into town. The cottage had everything you needed. The fire was ready to be lit on arrival which was great. The cottage stayed nice and warm during out stay - thank you.

We are very happy to stay in this house. Everything is clean and tidy. Jaye has lit up the woodfire before we arrive. Many thanks Jaye.
Check in was late and no water on the next morning
We travelled from Sydney with my elderly parents, aiming to check in at 2:00 PM as advertised. We arrived around 2:10 PM, only to discover a message had been left on the Stayz app at 1:20 PM informing us the property wouldn’t be ready until after 3:00 PM. This last-minute notice, especially after a long journey, was quite inconvenient—particularly as we had no alternative arrangements and had to pass time wandering nearby. The property itself was clean, well-maintained, and just as described, which we appreciated. However, the following morning we woke up to find there was no running water at all. After contacting the host, it took about 30 minutes to identify the issue—frozen pipes due to the water supply being fed from a nearby creek. The host kindly offered access to the neighbouring property so we could freshen up, which helped, though the disruption affected the start of our day significantly. While we understand unforeseen issues can arise, the late notice regarding check-in and the lack of water—combined with no proactive offer of compensation—left us feeling a bit disappointed, especially considering the premium paid for the stay. A gesture of goodwill from the host would have gone a long way in acknowledging the inconvenience we experienced.
