I enjoyed the kitchen, the hospitality, the room was clean, big, the staff was very friendly and it really improved my time at Washington DC the hotel is also close to the national mall and it does have a nice restaurant downstairs in the lobby.

The River Inn is a wonderful, conveniently located option if you’re visiting DC for any purpose. The room was large, felt like a studio apartment (including a well appointed kitchen!). Staff was lovely and helpful.

Great place to stay in a quaint, quiet little neighborhood near GW Uni and close to many sites. The rooms actually have a kitchen, so and even better place for an extended stay. Staff was super friendly and overall just top-notch. Thanks.

We stayed here while doing college visits for my son. Excellent hotel and location. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the on-site restaurant had good food and excellent service. Also, you are in walking diatnce to George Washington Univeristy, a short Uber ride from Georgetown, and very close to the train station.
