We had a wonderful weekend at this beautiful apartment hotel and can't wait to go back. As others have said the pool was amazing and the beach very nice, although a bit rocky. Everything is super convenient for traveling with young children. The only reasons we didn't give it 5 stars were because the balcony on the 5th floor has large gaps big enough for my 5 year old to walk off of, you can't flush toilet paper down the toilet so having a place to take out the trash would be nice to avoid smells, no wine glasses, and a broom and dust pan would have been helpful for sweeping up sand.

Our room was facing the street, no balcony. It is a very quiet area. The pool has a warm temperature. The staff were wonderful people. There is a supermarket but you need to take a taxi 70 pesos or a bus 12 pesos. Downton is a 15 minutes walk, lots of restaurants. Lots of stores like 7/11 called Oxxo close to the hotel. There's a small mall across the street with some restaurants. If you want to go to Puerto Vallarta you can take the bus is about 30 minutes drive 24 pesos or you can go to Sayulita which is 20 minutes drive for about the same price.

The rooms are nice, the staff is excellent, the hotel is very modern and clean. If we had booked an ocean view room I would give it a much better rating. We booked a 'mountainview' because that was all that was available. The noise coming from the back of the hotel - Street / highway/ beach access was alot and we did not get much rest at all the nights we spent in this room. I will say that the staff at the hotel did what they could to help us , we were able to have an ocean view room for two nights and it was completely different. If you aren't sensitive to noise then you might have no issues with the mountainview rooms.
