decent place to stay in cork. not sure how long it’s been going on or how long it will continue, but when i stayed there was super loud construction or something outside my window all night for all 3 nights i was there. other than that the room was clean and the location is good, just a short walk from the city centre.

It’s not a hotel, it’s student housing. The staff was very friendly, but gives dorm room vibes. Wasn’t a terrible stay, but would choose differently if we came to cork again. No parking so plan on spending around 40 euro a day on the nearest car park.

A basic student accommodation. The bed was uncomfortable. The bathroom and kitchen facilities were OK. The room was clean and towels were provided. The accommodation was fine for what we needed it for and the location was good. Staying on a Saturday night was noisy, with doors slamming throughout the night.

Very functional with absolutely no frills. Eg no tea or coffee or shampoo or kitchen cloth to wipe surfaces or dishcloth to dry dishes or bag in the kitchen bin.

We checked in to stay at Copley Court for one night and immediately found a dead bed bug under one of the pillows. We went back to the front desk to let them know we wouldn’t be staying there. They did offer a new room, but if a place has bed bugs, we’re not staying there. After four phone calls asking for a refund, they emailed saying they wouldn’t be refunding as they offered us an alternative room. I would recommend finding another place to stay in Cork as this location has bed bugs and communication is lacking.

Bed is up high on a platform. No light in the room. Room is grey so is very dark. Bathroom needs to be refurbished. Was overpriced.

Room we were initially put in had an awful sewage smell. We left it to go eat to see if it would air out but then asked for a change when we got back and found it was not resolved. Thankfully the front desk staff made this process easy. P The mattress is the least comfortable I've ever experienced and the rooms were quite warm even with the outside temperature being cold. We had to leave the window open as a result which meant you could hear all of the seagulls of cork screaming along with people late into the night. I would certainly not recommend it and would not go back.

This is a student dorm that’s rented when classes are out, but there was construction right outside my ground floor window that started at 3am?!? Windows felt paper thin. Those units shouldn’t be rented out until that work is done.

I booked a City Room; a double bed with desk and private bathroom. When I arrived we were given a bed that required climbing up a skinny ladder and over the wooden edge of the bed. I would never have booked this as I am 8mths pregnant and it was a nightmare. I asked about it and was told ‘I booked a Loft Room which is clearly detailed at the point of booking’. The response was defensive and made me think they have had this with others. Hotels.com offered €25 compensation.

Pretty great little spot. Wonderful location. Older and feels like a dorm but for the price and location, it’s a solid choice!

Basic, clean, quiet, central

Basic but clean room, quiet. Appears to be student accommodation outside of summer. Very reasonably priced compared to others in Cork city and was a very short walk to city centre

Such a good spot to stay and close to the city. Staff are all lovely. The place was spotless. Good facilities. However when we went into the communal space with the pool table and stuff. There was some people in there drinking which is fair enough. But I’ve never been chased out of a room so fast by the looks we were given as if we were invading their space. Other then that pretty happy with our stay
