Clean room, lovely staff, great location for getting to Download festival. Really good value for money. A few things to note - the reception is located in a different area of the campus to the accommodation. For the reception you want to navigate to the South entrance on Landcroft Lane and then take the first left. The room itself was good although it was quite warm in the summer & the pillows were thin so I’d recommend bringing some additional pillows with you. There is a large carpark by the accommodation but it isn’t cheap and charges 24/7. Also there is a very loud generator of sorts that runs all the time, so that along with the planes means you’ll likely want to sleep with the windows closed.

Nearest shop I found was the Co-op in Kegworth. Room was clean and fine, but there was no info, eg that there's an alarm which goes off if you don't latch the kitchen door, who to contact and how I'm case of need. Prior to arrival, a map of the site showing checkin location would be useful. I booked with hotels.com. I was disconcerted to receive repeated, unexpected, curious-looking emails and phone messages threatening to cancel my booking if I didn't send my government id and a selfie to what looked like an unrelated url. These continued despite having an email from the property confirming my stay. It meant that on my journey felt apprehensive as I didn't know if I would or wouldn't have a booking on arrival.
