Although our trip was short, it was the perfect place to rest before we headed to the next destination. It was clean and the staff was easy to communicate with. We definitely will be returning.

Eric was super helpful and we found this campground a delight! So close to Monarch and Salida, this was perfect for our snowboarding trip where we also wanted to enjoy town a bit too!

Colorado laws say nightly rentals must provide heat from October to April booked to this paid for it before I checked in. I received a message saying no heat in this cabin. If you’d like a heater you can upgrade for additional cost. It was a nonrefundable cabin. I figured if someone wanted to do the right thing and they were good people they would just give me my money back they didn’t major. DB in my book thanks a lot of agora state at Silver Lodge. Awesome people awesome place 5 miles down the road skip this disaster.

The advertising photo of the nice cabin is not the cabin we got and booking was misleading. No AC, no water, no bathroom, just the cabin and two outlets. The advertising is misleading as there was no coffee. The coffee house pictured is not open. The people were very nice, it was quiet and it looks like they are really trying to do some nice improvements. The shared shower house and bathrooms are very nice, just a long walk in the middle of the night. It was very nice for having our dog along for this trip. All in all, we made it work just fine for the two nights we were there and will look more closely when booking in the future but would be better if it wasn't misleading as we heard other people who were really upset over it and justifiably so.
