We booked a 2 bedrooms apartment for the 3 of us. The apartment was spacious and nice view on the mountain. We had 2 bathroom which was great but unfortunately 1 of the heater was not functioning for half our stay so it was really cold to take a bath and we had to complain several times before they replaced the towels heater. They obviously knew the issue as they already ordered a new one. They never offered any compensation or to move us in another apartment. The ski room was super smelly and congested especially in the morning. That it was at the point I was feeling nauseous. Another downside was the spa area, way too small for the amount of guests. Only one small Hot tub always full. The sauna was super crowded that it made it impossible to use and same with the steam room that wasn't even hot enough and the eucalyptus was so strong it would make your eyes watering. So we only went once as it was not enjoyable. At Les Arcs 1800 there is almost nothing beside the residence and the hotel. Just 1 small Spar. For shopping, bars, restaurants you have to take the Dahu Lift that connect to Les Arcs 1600. We also drove to Les Arcs 1950 (about 20 min drive but totally worth it. Les Arcs 1950 is such a nice resort. Overall experience was okay but we won’t probably go back to this place.

Belle découverte

Appartement très confortable pour 4 personnes avec deux chambres, une SDB et une salle d'eau, et un séjour (avec cheminée donc nous avons été surclassé s). Vue à couper le souffle. Casiers à skis chauffés. Espace sauna, hammam, piscine très apprécié en fin d'après-midi. Accès facile à arc 1800 avec le dahu. Domaine skiable vaste et pour tous les niveaux.

Appartement très agréable, confortable, avec une bonne literie. Bien qu'on entende les bruits de chaises ou d'enfants qui courent au dessus, l'insonorisation semble plutôt bonne dans l'ensemble. Juste un bémol sur 2 points : - la procédure d'arrivée : beaucoup d'attente... pour s'entendre dire qu'il faut patienter parce qu'on n'est pas sur que la chambre soit prête. J'ai au final eu ma clé à 17h45 alors que je pouvais arriver à partir de 17h - le dernier jour, alors qu'on doit quitter pour 10h, une femme de ménage qui entre dans l'appartement sans frapper à 9h20, c'est inadmissible !!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, le cadre est superbe, nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir. Seul bémol si on peut dire, la piscine est un peu petite au regard du nombre de personne dans la résidence.

Schifahren in Les Arcs

Sehr schöne, neue Anlage. Sehr funktional ausgestattet. Mitten im Schigebiet. Tiefgarage mit 2,10 Meter Höhe auch mit Dachbox geeignet. Einzige Nachteile: die Elektroheizung wird zentral kontrolliert (und herungergeregelt). Erst nach mehrfacher Beschwerde an der Rezeption lief die Heizung auch in der Nacht durch. Warmwasser war an den Abenden nicht verfügbar. Dieses Problem wurde während des gesamten Aufenthalts nicht gelösst. Schade, denn sonst wäre es ein wirklich rundum guter Aufenthalt gewesen!

Unfortunately we did not get the room we paid for. Much smaller than described on Expedia site when we booked it, which gave a bad taste to our stay. Exepedia has been unable to address the issue.

Belle résidence des ARCS 1800

Nous avons séjourné une semaine dans un appartement 3 pièces dans la résidence les Monarques en famille de 5 adultes et 2 petits enfants. l'appartement est bien agencé, avec une grande pièce à vivre comportant l'entrée, la cuisine, la table à manger et le salon, et de chaque coté, une chambre avec salle de bain, et une autre chambre avec salle de douche : c'est un gros plus par rapport à d'autres résidences, car même à 7, on ne se gène pas pour la toilette. Tout est beau, propre et neuf, bien décoré. La cuisine est bien équipée avec beaucoup de rangements pour les provisions. Une grande baie vitrée vous offre une vue plein sud sur la montagne et le champ de neige : top. Un petit balcon exposé plein sud complète la description. Dans la résidence, nous avons expérimenté le centre aquatique, un belle piscine, une mini piscine pour les bébés, un jaccuzi et un sauna. Il y aussi une salle de fitness pour les courageux ;-) Le parking vous coutera 60€ par semaine. Il y a un agréable restaurant aux spécialités savoyardes, une petite épicerie pour le dépannage, un magasin de location de ski et une remise pour votre matériel de ski. La résidence est relièe à la station des Arcs 1800 par un petit téléphérique de 5 minutes : le dahu. Départ et retour au complexe ski aux pieds et juste en face du téléski du Carreley, qui vous emmène sur Arcs 2000 directement. Bonnes prestations + bon emplacement = bon séjour. Je recommande donc cette résidence.

Feb Half Term 2018

The Prestige apartments are excellently located (if you don't mind travelling down to the resort centre every now and then for shopping and amenities). The reception staff was really hit and miss. Basic requests (such as how to use the safe and dishwasher were unable to be answered and couldn't provide new batteries to my TV remote or new sheet that fitted our duvet), however they were always polite. The Sofabed was absolutely horrendous. Noisy and very uncomfortable, suffering from being overused and not replacing the mattress leading to each side rolling to the centre. Double bed was OK though. The pool is good, and after a few seconds adjusting to the water temp, was pleasant to stay in for 30mins or more. The Sauna and Steam room are OK too, but not generally as warm as others I've been in. Ski lockers were good and you could ski in and out of them. Wifi was better than I was expecting, but did drop out on two mornings, otherwise generall good and adequate connection. I wouldn't rate this accomocation as a 5 star residence in the way the French Authorities have (perhaps it would have been when originally opened and with the Staff more responsive). That said, we all really liked the complex and given the overall feel of the residence and it's location, I would definitely stay here again.

Modern, clean Family Base

Perfect ski-in ski-out for families with ground floor ski & boot lockers. There was a pedestrian gondola & free bus service which made accessibility easier. We booked the snow train from London which worked great using the funicular upon arrival.

Très belle expérience, le 3 pièces confort était vraiment spacieux et en tres bonne condition. Belle piscine ET spa. La station de Arcs 1800 offre de bonnes activités pour les enfants et adultes grace au pass Hero les Arcs (89€ la semaine/pers). Appréciables aussi les randonnées offertes par la (2 demies-journées par pers). Club enfants et ado. Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas d'animations style aquagym, fitness dans la residence. Je reviendrai!

Overall lovely modern and comfortable hotel

Great hotel overall, ski-in-ski-out is great, apartments spacious, modern and comfy, WiFi and temperature great (notable as I'd read negative comments on this but had no issues), pool area wonderful, staff really friendly. Bugbears - if the gondola is broken the bus is a faff, arc 1800 didn't seem to have much going on and we kind of wished we'd stayed in arc 1950 (we went for 1800 as it was supposed to be best for young groups but it was end of season to be fair), but biggest annoyance was having to strip beds and hoover etc before leaving - when only there for a week so time precious and getting up at 5am to go home that is the last thing I want to do and I don't think I should have to unless I'm staying in a hostel, do they not pay cleaners?? Overall though great trip and would happily recommend the hotel subject to the above.
