Charming pub with spacious accommodation ideal for Penine Way walkers. This traditional hostelry, popular with both locals and visitors, has a great range of well kept ales and hearty meals. Also dog friendly : ) Note that breakfast is not provided but the accommodation has a fully equipped kitchen.

What a lovely place to stay. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We parked up the car at the back of the pub and left it there for two days because everything you need is right there. We did a great walk from the pub and bought essentials from the little shop at the campsite opposite. The food at the pub was great . I highly recommend.
