Relaxation

I wanted a quiet stay for our last night in Colorado. I felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, but we had easy access to everything we needed. The peace was heaven, the natural beauty was amazing. I absolutely recommend this place, it's wonderful.

Loved this place! We will be back with family! Relaxing and would love to spend a week there! Lots of activities near by. Open space and dark skies! Go to the Observatory in Westcliffe! Fishing, shopping, 4-wheeling. Go to Hillside Cottages!!!

Don't miss if you are in the area!

Hillside Cottages were a delightful discovery for a two day getaway. Beautifully situated between two mountain ranges they are simple but well appointed with what you need to get away from it all. We saw deer in the morning, just outside the window. Very private.

The cabin behind us their bed backs up to the wall of our bedroom. All “things” done in that room is heard loudly in the other room. Normally not a problem. But this stay it was almost all night and multiple times. Hard to sleep through all that banging and loudly screaming for God.

I had trouble getting the access code not because of Hillside Properties, but because I didn't have phone service. I was grateful that Shana was there cleaning when I was on my way to Westcliffe and got an access code. Then once I had internet I had service. Beautiful place and very enjoyable stay.

Very clean well done cottages. We’ve stayed there 3 times. The location is very lovely. Our only minor complaint was we were asked mot particularly politely to wash the dishes and put out the trash. There were very few dishes so it was not a big deal. It just made our visit not quite as nice.
