We stayed here on our long return trip home. We only needed a place to sleep, since we arrived late and left early. It was pet friendly place with air conditioning and cheaper than local hotels. That being said, there were lots of bugs and the place felt quite damp. In the future, if we need to stay in the Soo, we would choose somewhere else.

It was a great stay. The only thing that can use some important is the rules at the pool. People eating and drinking alcohol in the pool area is a bit stressful and not good . If the health board was to show up they would close the pool and that is not far to the People that adhere to the rules.

We were only there 1 night so didnt really have time to avail ourselves of all the facilities. Our cottage was clean and comfortable and quiet. There were plenty of towels. The laundry facilities were most welcome after a week of camping.

The property itself was very nice. They should start trying to do a little bit of fixing up with each of the cabins. Simple little things can make a huge difference and don’t necessarily cost a lot of money. Paint, updated curtains, caulking in the bathroom, are just a few items that can really make a big difference. Everything else was just fine and I would come back again.

This was a great place to stay! We often struggle with accommodations when driving to Thunder Bay from Toronto because if we end up at a motel there’s nothing to do except sit on the bed and watch tv. Glenview fixes that! There’s a pool, you can walk around the grounds, there’s places to sit outside and the cottage was very comfortable with a nice couch and a totally separate bedroom. Our only complaint was the floor was quite dirty so we ended up wearing our shoes inside so we didn’t ruin our socks. We also could have used some cleaning supplies; paper towels to clean up a spill, that kind of thing.
