The location was fabulous, close to the beach, close to the tram line, easy access to the centre of Surfers Paradise and restaurants. The downside was the parking issue, for example cars in incorrect spaces. Information from reception was very poor regarding iregarding the complex eg amenities and linen as the reception was unattended for our entire 7 day stay. However we would recommend the Ipanema and also stay again.

Very nice quiet room with all amenities in my washer and dryer just out the door. Balcony had a view over the pool (which was also really nice) Comfortable, mostly clean, though staff could learn out to clean properly. Convenient location close to tram stop and only 2 stops from Pacific Fair and 1 stop from the convention centre.
