BEAUTIFUL APARTMENT WITH STUNNING SEA VIEW!
We were delighted to stay at the Anthemoessa villas for a week.
We found the owners Giannis & Dimitra very helpful and hospitable hosts. Aksi6, the rest of the team working there went out their way to help us, especially Maria who served us a good healthy breakfast each morning at the poolside with a beautiful smile. Her English was extremely good too!
The apartment we stayed in (No. 2)was well equipped with basic cooking facilities. Clean white walls with a beautiful seaside canvas painted by Giannis I believe, and good quality bed linen. The bed however, could have been a bit more comfy in my opinion,but we managed to have a decent nights sleep though.
The pool is a descent size and lovely and clean. Lucky for us we had it to ourselves much of the time too!
We had a beautiful sea view with the Mycale mountain in the distant - stunning!
The walk into pythogoria was far too long for us in the heat, but taxis are easy and efficient called from the hotel and within 5 mins you're there in town. Such a lovely place too for bars, tavernas and people watching. Shops are good and cheap enough for local produce too.
The beach nearest to The Anthemossea is Kilcarisa beach and costs only 2.50 Euros for a sunbed. A lot of locals use this beach and the water is safe and warm when we were there in September.
Alll in all if relaxation is your thing then this is the place to stay, not much going on nearby unless you do venture into town, but well and truly worth it!
