Fabulous 2 night stay

Our cottage was fantastic! Beautifully designed, comfortable with privacy. The scenery was breathtaking - we loved looking out over the sea and watching the sunset. The garden/pool area is gorgeous. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

while the weather was beyond anyone’s control, I had such a cozy stay and was perfect for the R&R that I needed. The grounds, the room and the entire property was so delightful though there were other guests. I don’t think I saw even one! It was truly so lovely in the rooms. I think everyone was cozied up by their fires during the rainy evenings. I really loved the grocery store, though the prices are a bit higher than in store, you’re paying for the convenience of all your necessities being right there and I thought that was really nice. Plus your room already comes with plenty of eggs, cheese and bacon for breakfast cereals, granola and yogurt as well as milk and juice so there’s not really much else to grab unless you are going to make a nice dinner. I truly loved all of the kitties, despite I’m allergic, they were adorable, kept to themselves, and we’re awfully cuddly when I was leaving (They are also vaccinated so there’s no worries.) on top of that there are chickens, ducks, and sheep on the property and I hope to come back when the weather is better to enjoy that beautiful pool, the vegetation, and the beautiful views! thank you again for such a wonderful stay and apologies again for setting off the fire alarm! 😂 i’ve got to get used to using those cast-iron stoves!

We loved staying here! It was the perfect base to explore the island - and great to be in nature with modern amenities. The hobbit bar and market were a great touch and we absolutely loved watching the sunset with a glass of wine from a sun lounger surrounded by animals and plants. Truly magical! The staff take extra good care of the property - the grounds are well maintained and they really do help with anything you need - all you have to do is ask. The morning bread deliveries and making our own breakfast / sandwiches for lunch on the road was a great touch. Quiet in the evenings, some construction in the area and repairs taking place around the property but we did stay during off season so to be expected and not that disruptive overall. Will definitely look to stay here again!

Sehr ruhig gelegen und gepflegte Anlage. Sauberes Ferienhäuschen. Sehr viel Privatsphäre. Jeden Morgen werden frische Brötchen an die Türe geliefert. Alles was fürs Frühstück gebraucht wird, hat man im Zimmer oder im Kühlschrank. Bei Bedarf wird es aufgefüllt oder auf Wunsch ergänzt. Für uns war es der ideale Ausgangspunkt für unsere täglichen Touren. Der wunderschöne Ponta do Pargo Leuchtturm ist nur 8 Minuten entfernt. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Petit coin de paradis qui nous manque déjà...

Quelle merveille que cet endroit coquet, charmant, et loin de tout tumulte ! Avant même l'arrivée, tous les détails sont donnés, tout est clair. A l'arrivée, pas de mauvaises surprises, mais plutôt l'émerveillement. On arrive dans un petit havre de paix, avec des petites maisons en pierre logées au milieu d'un magnifique jardin fleuri parfaitement entretenu, un enclos avec des animaux de la ferme, une magnifique piscine et un bar en libre-service dans une maison de Hobbit ! Il y a également une petite épicerie en libre-service si besoin de quoi que ce soit pour se cuisiner des petits plats dans sa maison. Le soir, observer le coucher de soleil depuis la piscine, ou depuis chez soi, est un bonheur absolu... Pour le petit-déjeuner, des vivres pour les premiers jours sont fournis, avec notamment des oeufs frais de la ferme, et du pain frais est posé à votre porte chaque matin. Nous ne sommes restés que 2 nuits dans ce petit coin de paradis, car nous faisions le tour de l'île, mais ce fut très dur de quitter cet endroit...
