MolenVliet Vineyards

Mycket trevligt hotell i ett fantastiskt läge!

Fantastisk avslutning på vår resa till Sydafrika. Väldigt trevlig personal, fantastiskt fint rum och atmosfär och ett väldigt bra läge för de andra vingårdar och restauranger vi besökte. Enda lilla minuset var frukosten som inte överensstämde med standarden och kvaliteten i övrigt på hotellet. Utbudet var väldigt litet och det tog lång tid att få den beställda tillagade maten. När de väl kom var det dock gott! Stort tack för en fantastiskt trevlig vistelse, vi kommer mer än gärna tillbaka och rekommenderar det gärna till andra!

Wunderbare Lage mit Blick auf die Berge. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gesamte Anlage sauber und gepflegt. Die beiden Pools sind nicht gerade groß, zum Schwimmen kaum geeignet. Bedauerlicherweise verfügt das MolenVliet über kein eigenes Restaurant. Man ist gezwungen mit dem Auto zu fahren, wenn man Essen gehen (oder Wein genießen) möchte.

This property was perfect. Unassuming and unpretentious but at the same time the epitome of the wine district. If you want a real South African experience with genuine staff, delicious wine and top class accommodation this is the place for you. Stellenbosch is surrounded by an overwhelming amount of wineries but MolenVliet truly encompass the full wine district experience. Cannot recommend highly enough.

No restaurant for lunch or dinner

Amenities listed a restaurant, which as the property is a distance from a town centre Is very important. The restaurant listed only provides breakfast, no lunch no dinner. It’s a real lack in what is otherwise a lovely place. Having to drive a distance for lunch ,dinner really spoils the stay.

Lovely place with really nice surroundings. However, in the description it says that this is a wineyard with a restaurant - I shouldn´t call it that though. There is no restaurant except for breakfast ( which is great and eaten in a lovely house), but they are planing to start one. There is also no tasting offered. MolenVliet is rather focusing on weddings and they are well booked when it comes to that. If you´re looking for a nice hideout where you´re intend to taste some wine, having dinner at the site etc you should know that this is not offered - you have to arrange that elsewhere.

Tolle Anlage. Im Manor House sind exklusiv nur 5 Zimmer. Das Personal ist extrem aufmerksam und kümmert sich um alle Anliegen. Sehr empfehlenswert. Neben dem Frühstück gibt es allerdings keine Verpflegungsmöglichkeiten. Außerhalb sind viele Möglichkeiten in nur wenigen Minuten erreichbar.

Amazing property with views like you can't even imagine. All very high end and super nice, and the staff is there to please. A few misses with the service, and we were surprised that the place was still under construction. But overall a really great experience, and we would highly recommend. And the views!!

Room space and decor fantastic, staff courteous and considerate. My gripe is that a guest arriving as late as 11.35pm in the night should have the necessary hospitable light refreshment and not be expected to pay for pringles and nuts. For the amount of money paid per night in GBP sterling, a handful of pringles and a 35 gm nuts should be overlooked. There was no water in the kettle, so I boiled the water in two small bottles that actually was a total of 200mls drinking glass to drink. It was recorded against my account, but I challenged it and it was removed. Banhoek Lodge is the best, it is like home for me, though my family in iCloud gave a glowing assessment of their stay. I don't drink wine, but if you can get it free, you should go to iCloud.

Friendly hotel in a beautiful location

Everyone here was really friendly and helpful. The location couldn't be better with views of the vineyard and the mountains and quite close to other vineyards for wine tastings. Highly recommended.

Unglaublich nettes Personal. Insbesondere die Dame an der Rezeption. Eines der besten Hotels, in dem wir waren. Frühstück war super. Leider waren wir nur eine Nacht da. Dort lässt es sich aber ganz gut länger aushalten. Dieses Hotel können wir wärmstens empfehlen :)

Schön gelegenes Weingut mit super Service! Neu wird auch ein Nachtessen angeboten, ansonsten empfehlen sich die benachbarten Restaurants in der Nähe (mit Uber sehr problemlos erreichbar).

Schönes Anwesen in Stellenbosch

Super netter Empfang , sehr gepflegte Anlage auf einem Weingut,allerdings keine Weinprobe möglich.Sehr gutes Frühstück in einem eleganten Herrenhaus mit offenem Kamin und wunderschön angelegten Garten. Als Überraschung wurde der im Zimmer befindliche offene Kamin abends angeheizt. Sehr gemütlich!

A lovely place and great service. Would be 10/10 if not for a few minor missing details; - fire lighters and wood but no matches - rain but no umbrella (mentioned in the book) - enough hot water for one bath but no shower for anyone else Otherwise great!
