Wonderful experience. Got a welcome gift as it was my birthday. Everything so well organised and clean even the woodland. Will be going back. Hot tub brilliant and bbq hut perfect. Lovely place. Remember to take torch and lanterns.

Fabulous location, lovely accommodation, had forgotten just how loud wildlife can be!!! Only negative is the trek from the car park area to the safari tents, if you are staying only one night I’m sure it’s fine, but when you’ve a few days worth of stuff it’s hard going shifting it all in little wheelbarrows.
Everything you need set within gorgeous grounds, very peaceful. We loved it!

Excellent escape for the night
We stayed in the double hobbit hide. It was peacefully situated right on the edge of the woods with easy access to the shared kitchen and toilets. The shared facilities were clean and had everything that we needed, eg cooking utensils, pans plates kettle. The hide itself was very sweet. The £10 fire kit was also perfect. Dog friendly with lots of lovely walks nearby

Fab!
Great place for a family holiday, definitely a step up from camping. Fantastic adventure playground, lovely surroundings and great as a base. It was easy to get to other places. Staff were brilliant. Very clean and peaceful, would highly recommend.

NEVER AGAIN!!!
DO NOT BOOK!
Well.. where do I even start..
I booked a two night stay in the “meadow hide unidome” as a getaway for myself and my fiancé after our wedding and honeymoon were cancelled due to coronavirus..
We arrived last night for the first night of our stay to find out at the accommodation we had booked was damaged and so was letting water into the property causing a health and safety risk.
There was no alternative accommodation and so staff stated we could have a full refund of the accommodation and the items purchased on arrival for the bbq/fire.
We had driven to the accommodation without even a phone call prior from any staff member to advise us of the damage to the property, we had purchased over £30 worth of food to cover the two nights and was made to drive back over 3 hours back to Scotland due to the damage to the property.
The manager, although polite and apologetic for the hassle.. attempted to refund the money and by doing so charged me a second time, she did not believe me and told me to contact my bank to confirm this which I did and confirmed the payment has been taken twice and not refunded..
I have now spent all day trying to contact the company, via phone, email, social media and nobody has had the decency to reply.
First and last experience of glamping and most definitely the last visit to this site. I will not be recommending this to anyone! Service is absolutely poor. NEVER AGAIN!
We stayed as a little adventure for my son's 4th birthday, he absolutely loved it. Its a lovely setting in a pretty meadow and feels safe and well organised. We stayed in a Bell Tent which was lovely, well equipped and spacious.
Only two small issues, the lights weren't working in the toilets and a truck with a trailer on was going back and forth noisily behind our tent constantly until 10pm. We understand camp sites can be noisy and the general chatter of other guests is fine but the sound of a loud vehicle clattering along a bumpy road shattered the peace and feeling of escaping it all.
Beautiful surroundings , a great place to unwind and get in touch with nature . Inside of accom was set out lovely with most things you would need . Great style and provided tealights and fairy lights to add to atmosphere . All cutlery and crockery etc you would need up in communal kitchen plus a borrow and return bookshelf .
It was a little quieter than I imagined , as I don't think many other people were there at same time and it's completely off grid which is great but you do need to be prepared . Make sure you take a torch and dry shampoo ! (Although the shop does sell this which is open in the evenings) Shop also sells logs for fire .
Its all v laid back , could have been nice to have a bit more of a welcome and someone to show me to accom , then a proper checkout to say thanks etc . Left a note in book but just lacked a bit of a personal touch for me . Also the water was hot in the shower but not in the kitchen . This made it hard to wash things up properly tho I'm aware it's all done by solar power so this probably had an impact .
All in all v enjoyable - beautiful trees and wildlife. (rabbits and squirrels everywhere !) . Staff seemed friendly when I approached them and everything you would need for a rustic getaway . V cool .
Camp site was clean and tidy. Nice woodland and meadow views apart from the parked cars very close to our accomodation as they did not follwo camp rules. Camp rules stated that cars were only allowed on site for 20 minute drop off to unpack and reload belongings and then to move cars to main car parking area. There is a nice shared kitchen area where you can usea range of different items. Small shop on site.
