Great water front home on the sound. We booked a fishing trip, and we did lots of that for sure. Cottage was cozy and the beds were very comfortable.

My family and I enjoyed the stay. It felt very homely. Fishing was phenomenal, lots of small fish for the kids and good shark fishing at night. Close to town and just a short drive to the beach access.

A wonderful respite. So Quiet. So Relaxing. Some may want more modern accommodations -but I enjoyed the sense of history and the quaintness of the cottage and the views are beautiful!I did nothing but sit on that porch for two days

Great family homeplace. Nice quiet neighborhood. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for preparing large family sized meals. Lovely porches on front and back of house.Amazing dock. We spent a lot of time out there fishing with the children and seeing the ICW boat traffic. Great location for relaxing and watching the sun rise and set. Even on the hottest days there was a cool breeze coming off the water.Our host provided us with lots of wonderful information regarding the house and the surrounding area in advance. He knows the area well! Everything you need or want to know is included.We had 2 minivans and a truck w/boat trailer, and we still had plenty of room to park.This was a big plus for us!

No doubt an older property, but it has been maintained and kept clean. There are a few sag spots in the floor, but nothing troubling. It is very charming and the kitchen has everything you need. Beautifully kept yard and nice pier! Nice swing in yard! Have I mentioned CLEAN? Simple to rent and they provide so much info! Very nice people! Peaceful!

We cook more than we dine out, so the well-equipped, organized kitchen was greatly appreciated.Information provided by host regarding local activities etc is amazing. I've been visiting this area for many many years and found things on this list that I did not know existed!This was our second stay at Cottage with a View, and hopefully it won't be our last.
