This hotel was a real find. Not only was it very welcoming, spotlessly clean, comfortable and quiet but it is also ideally placed for Frankfurt Messe. The rooms are provided with tea & coffee making facilities which one doesn't always expect in German hotels, and there is a very pleasant bar downstairs which serves drinks (but not food) in the evening. Breakfast (continental with some cooked) is served in a spacious dining room and is excellent. Regarding travel to and from the Messe, the S5 train (direction Friedrichsdorf) runs directly between Messe and Oberursel where you change to a no. 41 bus during the day (until about 18.00) or a no. 45 in the evening. You get off at the stop Landwehr, which is a 2-minute walk from the hotel. The only slight disappointment on our first evening was that there didn't seem to be anywhere close by to eat (the hotel is in the middle of a residential area), although we didn't make any enquiries, so there might have been. We will definitely be staying here again.
