After 3 days in Athens, our stay at the Archontiko Mesohori was just the break we needed. Located up high in the village of Kastraki, was peaceful and quiet. A short walk to some A+ tavérnes and some hiking right outside the door make this a special place.

Very pleasant experience. Family owned with excellent hospitality. Property was clean and very quiet. We were able to get an excellent nights rest. The location is perfect for anyone exploring the area. You are a 10 minute walk to the village that has numerous places to eat. The tour vans will pick you up directly at the property and they have free parking on site. Nice people need a great choice.

I loved the location, can't really get much closer to the sights without becoming a monk at one of the monateries. The hotel is a older but clean and well cared for. Parking is easy, and the staff are lovely attentive people. It's cozy, quiet and really you can't beat the location.
