The cabin was clean, modern yet cozy and off the beaten path from the crowds in Portree. The kitchen was excellent if you wanted to cook on holiday. The only draw back was the small fridge that didn't seem to cool very well. The host was very responsive to our requests during our visit. I wanted a secluded stay for our time on Skye that was easy to get around to all the popular destinations. I would definitely stay here again.

Very well presented property, stunning surroundings. Communication from the owner was very poor, no response to any messages prior to my stay and I had to ring to find out which cabin I was stopping in and how to collect my keys. This was by far the most expensive accommodation I’ve booked while working in and around the whole of Scotland for the last 3 year and I would have expected the check in to be flawless for the price paid.

The cabin we stayed in was lovely with spectacular views. It was cozy and had everything you could think of. Close to restaurants and food shopping and a great jumping off point for touring the Isle of Skye. Great place !

Gorgeous Stay

Absolutely gorgeous location and luxurious, stylish accommodations. The cabin we stayed in was clean, comfortable and well thought out. It felt very private but was easy to find and in an area of the town that made a grocery run or an adventure easily accessible.

Beautiful sunset and morning scenery!

We loved our stay at Ardcana, and wish we'd booked more nights there - both because Skye is spectacular and because the accommodation was so lovely. The Loft had INCREDIBLE views, we enjoyed the most gorgeous sunset on our balcony, which really set the perfect tone for our trip through the Highlands. Thank you for a great stay!

This was a welcome change to our 2+ weeks in hotels. It was beautiful. Extremely comfortable and had every special touch you can imagine. We stayed in the Marble unit and the tub, toiletries, bed and window treatment/video screen were all divine!

Beautiful cottage with thoughtful and beautiful decor. Touches like a flashlight attached to the bed frame, heated floors, towel warmer. Lovely views of the sea, This place exceeded expectations, Bonus is that we stumbled upon Red Skye Restaurant right up the road and it was our best meal in Scotland.

We loved our stay. The home was clean and well taken care of. The views and the peace & quiet were incredible. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful - they even setup a travel crib for our infant daughter. We’ll definitely stay again.

Enjoyable stay in Skye! We stayed at the Ardcana for two nights and had a lovely time. Thoughtful touches throughout, (including a bottle of wine in the fridge!) and the amenities were lovely. For a luxury cabin stay at this price point we were a bit disspointed with the view and the cleanliness (there was a dead fly on the oven range and cobwebs on some of the upper walls). But overall very enjoyable stay!

We had an excellent stay at this cabin on the Isle of Skye. It was incredibly warm and cosy, making it the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The views across the water were absolutely stunning – a true highlight of the stay. Highly recommend this peaceful getaway for anyone looking to unwind in nature!

Peace and tranquility

The accommodation is beautiful, overlooking the tranquil sea. Well equipped for a short stay with high quality equipment. If you want a peaceful few days away then this is the place to book.

This property is amazing. Just as pictured. It is a bit remote as it is off the main roadway a bit but that is part of what I loved. The views from the porch were gorgeous. I only had one need to contact the property manager about a question but was responded to very quickly. Would absolutely stay here again.
