Staying with Jane and her staff at Cook’s Oasis was a treat. There were convenient food options on either side, a liquor store across the street, and a store in a short distance. Compared to many parts of the island, this is a really central place to be if you are or aren’t renting a car. I was on foot and it was ideal. I’m also a solo female traveler, and Cook’s Oasis was a safe, and friendly place to be. Staying here means supporting a local family rather than a big company, and the folks are really lovely!

Extremely well hosted,,everything there you could need ,, very quiet at night,, 2 min walk to the beach,,laundry, books,dvd’s , snorkel stuff, Kayaks,, et etc etc, a little quieter side of the island, but some great photos of coral straight out from property . Jane kept our stuff safe while we adventured over to Aitutaki,, , just a great experience.

We had Villa 8 which was upstairs with two large bedrooms, good sized living, kitchen and bathroom and a return verandah. It was lovely being elevated and the area was a great size for us and our two adult boys, 21 and 24. The covered verandah made for even more space. It was great to have a BBQ on site and free use of laundry facilities. We loved being able to walk down to the beach so easily. The beach is stunning and often there was no one else on it. Very easy stroll down the beach to Black Rock. We did hire a car and the on-site parking was appreciated. Overall we thought Cooks Oasis was great value for money and suited our family really well.

Great location with Black Rock beach 50 metres away. Clean rooms, free wifi is excellent and plunge pool onsite. Parking is free. Perfect spot for our 9 day stay. Highly recommend

Cooks Oasis is awesome. Marianne and her team are lovely and so helpful. The accommodation is spacious, clean, comfortable and just lovely. The beach is a one minute walk. E-bikes are nearby. Restaurants are nearby. Just a wonderful peaceful place to stay

Highly Recommended Lodge

A beautiful lodge with nice decoration, amenities and large room. Staff are very friendly. I requested for additional banana from the Chambermaid and on the following day, she gave me a bunch. Very thoughtful of her. Well located near the beach and you can enjoy sunset.

Great small resort.

It’s always a pleasure staying here. This trip I was in Villa 4. It was great. I’ll request that one in the future being able to self cater is such a plus. Bed is comfy. Everything is clean and quiet.

This property is comfortable with all the amenities you need. It’s a short step to the beach and is right on the main road which makes catching the bus easy. It is safe and secure and the staff are super welcoming and helpful. It’s the reason I keep going back.
