The Rishi Villa

The Rishi Villa offers 9 air-conditioned accommodations, which are accessible via exterior corridors, and features private pools and DVD players. Rooms open to balconies or patios. I enjoyed my stay at the Rishi Villa. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, frequently checking in on us, especially since it was my daughter's and my first visit to Bali. There was always someone available to help. The location is convenient, with a supermarket just a minute's walk away and small shops around the corner. The area is quiet, and the pool is nice and clean.

This property needs serious renovations done. You can tell that when this was first built, it was a beautiful place. Still is decent. But there are SO many things that need to be fixed and upgraded. I was very disappointed upon arriving in the first Villa. There were holes that were noticeably patched up on the walls, that was not even painted over, so you could tell. There’s paint chipping and peeling through the entire villa. We stayed there a total of 9 days. The first villa i had was unacceptable that i asked to be changed to another. Which they did, quickly. However the second villa was only a little bit better than the first. I would recommend this to someone who isn’t picky about the upkeep of the villa. They didn’t supply any wash clothes, very limited on towels and toilet paper. And the WiFi absolutely sucks in the villas. Was just not working for us the entire stay! Breakfast was really good, but limited to only 4 options everyday. So afternoon day 5, we were over the same breakfast. Staff was very nice and friendly overall, but now worth the money!

スタッフの皆さんがフレンドリーで素晴らしいです。

ヴィラなどが点在する静かなエリアの中にあり、面した通りは車の往来が少なく、大変静かで快適です。その一方で、すぐ前にひと通りのものが揃うぺピートエクスプレス（スーパーマーケット）があり、このエリアの中では最も便利なロケーション。歩いて行ける範囲に、マッサージやコンビニも数軒あります。施設は広い庭とプールのあるバリらしいプライベートヴィラです。施設に関して多少のメンテナンスは必要かもしれませんが、清掃が行き届いており、問題はありません。お湯はしっかりたくさん出ますし、WiFiも安定しています。最も素晴らしいのは、スタッフの皆さんが非常にフレンドリーなことです。ラグジュアリーさはありませんが、滞在する上での快適さは充分です。

Just a perfect week

The villa, although quite run down, was big and comfortable. I spent a wonderful time here. It was very hard to leave and I would love to come back. I’d like to point out that the staff could not be any sweeter and kinder. A perfect stay for me!

No way..!!

First of all...the locality was very remote like a village but may be some people would love that not me. The villa is very very old. The front entrance wooden door itself was like a could break it if i apply some extra pressure. The bathroom was disgusting. The bedroom was litterelly leaking like an open tap when it was raining that day. I do not recommend this villa to anyone.

Nice villa with private pool which is lovely. Better than expected. Staff is very friendly and helpful and go out of their way to help. They are will to organise taxi to Kuta and assistant with going places. They organised massage which was amazing. Breakfast could improve with more variety. The sheets and towels could be cleaner. The shower/bath could do with maintainace as well as the cooking facilities. The facilities are sufficient. There is a supermarket 2 minutes walk away as well a cafe and Indian restaurant. It’s a lovely place to relax, it’s peaceful and away from chaotic city.

Good location and helpful staff

The staff is nice and very helpful. Location is good, very peaceful and quite, very close to Supermarket and not far from Seminyak and petitenget. Need a bit improvement with the facility.

location is okay and very quiet

Photos used to advertise the property are obviously from a long time ago. The hotel is in poor condition and really needs some maintenance and a face lift. Breakfast supplied had virtually no taste and very basic. Staff do the best they can with what they have.

the expedia rating was misleading ,many things was stated available in expedia were not found like the shuttle in hotel , the villa need complete renovation ,we felt that we were in bed & breakfast or a motel not in 4 stars hotel ,we had to change our plan & move to other hotel. the only positive thing was the staff help & services.

Villa is big and nearly perfect & staffs service were good. As I had hired personal driver for the days I'm in Bali, it doesn't matter if the villa is slightly away from the town center. Nice peaceful environment.

We did have some minor issues, but as we knew they are under new management and attempting to resolve all issues and were very keen for feedback. Umalas is only $3AUD taxi fare to Seminyak but not within walking distance for anything. Some staff have poor English skills and this lead to a days brekfast being missed. Management were exceptionally apologetic and attempted to compensate. Breakfast supplied is small so if your intending on a nig one to keep you going until dinner this wont suffice. A little difficult for taxis to find but once you know w few markers it is fine. Note the shower for the one bedroom villa is outdoor but you do have a jacuzzi with removable head if you wish to shower indoors. We have no issues with outside and were comfortable enough for privacy.

Great staff, brought me breakfest every morning, very helpful with directions to locations. Room was amazing, bathroom tub could fit four people. Nice outdoor kitchen, dining, and living area. Great pool, outdoor shower and patio bed. Only 9 Villa so super quite... A must stay!!!!

A little rough around the edges, but affordable!

The pool villa is an affordable way to have a private pool when you are only spending a few days in Bali. I was in transit, only had two nights, and also wanted to go shopping. So it was nice to not spend a lot on a villa when I only got to spend a few hours there, and to still have a private pool after a long day of shopping! It's only about a $6-$7 cab ride to Kuta, and $3-$4 into Legian/ Seminyak, so the location is kind of nice, if you don't mind taking a cab. The staff were super friendly and really helpful, even allowing us a late check out as it was low season. There was some confusion about payment though, as they didn't understand that I had prepaid with hotels.com Physically, the hotel needs a little touch up here and there, and a ceiling fan, or even a standing or wall mounted fan in the living area would improve the quality of the space... the room has AC, but during the day the outside area is hot. I think more could be done with the breakfast. The fruit plate and fresh watermelon juice was great, but the eggs and toast were not so good. Most guests won't mind paying a bit more to have fresh bread and less oily eggs. While this review might not sound hugely positive, the overall stay was good (and as I said in the title 'affordable') and I would stay there again. However, if I were staying longer, I would buy my own food for breakfast and would ask that they sort out the internet (which was not working in the room).
