It's not worth the money. Stay clear of this one.

The shuttle boat leaves at 12:30, and checkin is at 14:00? I can only guess it's a cash grab to force people to get lunch at the hotel's restaurant. Checkin was chaotic. We had to wait for an hour for our room to be ready. Hotel staff put us in an un-airconditioned room to sweat in the heat along with the remanence of that day's breakfast that was still scattered on the floor. When our room was ready, we were taken to the reception to the nicely air-conditioned and scented waiting room to wait... for all of three minutes, before being shown to our accommodation. We couldn't of waited in there before? Our request for a queen bed had been ignored, the only accommodation with a queen bed had broken AC... Guess who slept in the crack between the beds for the next three nights. Shower had two modes, ultra-low-pressure and barely warm, or high pressure and cold. The rainfall shower/handheld head selector knob had disappeared long ago... We found the maintenance log after dinner one night (it's in the letter box), the last entry was June 2020, it shows... Instead of the three restaurants advertised, there's one. It closes between whenever they decided lunch and dinner to be, at which point its sandwiches or overprice snacks from the souvenir store. I don't think there was one meal that didn't make us sick. Not gushing out of both ends sick, just enough to let you know you'd been mildly food poisoned. It's not worth the money. Stay clear of this one.

A real gem!

Haven’t been to Manukan in a couple of years but it’s always a joy to stay here. They’ve done a really good job maintaining the facilities and the quality of F&B is really good by hotel standards. The beach is a lot cleaner these days as well, which is fantastic.

Everything was perfect from transfer from most beautiful ferry harbor we've ever seen to check-in to room to amenities to friendliness and caring of staff to snorkeling to tour offers to food to checkout and staff always attending to us, helping with ferry access and transfer time

All in all a perfect place... The beach Gets a bit busy with day tourists between 9am and 4pm. The villas are super nice with all possible annemities. Housekeeping fills up the fridge every day with water AND plenty of softdrinks. The restaurant is serving delicious foods and staff super friendly in all departments. Resort is well maintained overall and matrases were super good Strongly recommended place... Perfect for your honeymoon or just a few relaxing beach days.

As a kind of / part of honeymoon me and my gf stayed on beautiful Manukan Island during our travels in borneo and Malaysia... All in all it was superb. Had two bookings... Two nights in hillside villa and one more in a beach villa. Both are very nice and definitely recommended. The hillside villa is more expensive but you get so much more... Its a two storey villa with all you can imagine... Three balcony, bathtub, etc, etc.... The beach villa is only the half size but had still everything what you might need The overall condition is very good... Beach fills up with daytourists between 9am and 3:30pm... The restaurant is delicious and brings good portions with delicate foods at reasonable price. Service couldn't be better...

속세랑 떨어져있기에 좋지만 할거없음..

따로 왕복 뱃값이 든다는 점..프라이빗 비치가 일반 관광객 옆이라 딱히 메리트를 못느끼겠고 오후 4시마감에 인터넷이 잘 안터진다는 점..옆집 애기들 소리지르고 쿵쿵거리는 소리가 너어어무 잘 들린다 빼고는 너무 좋았네요. 직원 친절도가 최상이였어요. 아침에 서로 인사를 주고받고 새소리를 들으면서 속세랑 떨어져 있으니 더할 나위 없네요. 근데 데이터 잘 안돼고 티비 안나와서 저녁 7시부터 할 게 없으니까 그냥 일찍 잘 수 밖에 없어서 너무 아쉬웠어요.. 저녁에 바베큐 말고 뭔가 더 있었으면 좋겠네요..와이파이가 있었으면 좋겠어요..ㅠ

나는 자연을 느끼고 싶어서 이 리조트에 예약했었다. 하지만 야생을 보았다. 그것도 방 안에서. 나는 7월 31일 부터 8월 2일까지 2박을 예약했지만 8월 1일 밤에 도망치듯 나왔다. 8월 1일 상쾌한 아침을 느끼며 일어났지만 그 순간뿐이었다. 갈갈이 찢겨진 슬리퍼를 본 후 악몽이 시작됐다. 범인은 쥐란다. 요즘 시대에? 리조트에서? 너무 놀래 씻지도 못하고 대처만 기다렸지만 답이 없다. 기다리다 연락이 없어 인셉션으로 갔다. 방 담당 직원을 찾으니 없다고 했다. 그 이후로도 본 적도 없다 다른 직원이 해결책으로 쥐가 나온 구멍을 잘 막아줄테니 그방을 쓰거나 옮겨준다고 했다. 나는 매니져를 불러달라고 했다 회의중이란다. 한시간 넘게 기다려야된다고 했다. 십여분 기다리니 매니져도 아닌 인셉션 고참 직원이 왔다. 해결책은 너무도 똑같았다. 사과도 없다. 환불을 요청했으나 그건 자기 영역이 아닌 예약업체에서 해줘야 한다고 했다. 그리고 3-4개월 기다려야 된다고 했다. 숙소도 알아서 예약해야 된다고 했다. 말도 안되는 선택 중 어쩔 수 없이 방을 옮겼다. 조금이나마 섬에 대해 기대가 남아 있었나보다. 방을 옮겨도 바로 사용할 수는 없었다. 방 청소하는 시간이 필요해 2시까지 기다려야 했다. 2시가 넘어서야 겨우 방에 들어 갈 수 있었다. 방의 쥐가 들어올 구멍을 막아달라고 했다. 직원들은 그 구멍을 대충 정위치에만 두고는 배관들은 잘 막혀있으니 쥐가 들어올리는 없다고 했다. 알겠다고 한 후 해변의 썬베드에서 시간을 보냈다. 썬베드에서도 직원의 인종차별적 행위가 있었지만 이후의 사건이 커 이거넘어가겠다. 그 후 저녁을 먹고 숙소로 들어갔다. 불꺼진 방의 문를 열고 불을 켰다. 뭔가 재빨리 움직였다. 정체를 알 수 없는 것은 소파 밑으로 들어갔다. 아내에게는 잠깐 나가있으라고 한 후 상황을 살폈다. 일전의 도마뱀이었으면 좋겠다고 생각했다. 하지만 너무 크고 빨랐다. 상황을 살피기 위해 한 발 내딫는 순간 그것이 튀어나왔다. 쥐였다. 쥐는 침실로 들어갔다. 믿을 수 없는 일들로 사고가 정지된 후 다시 정신을 차리니 쥐는 없었다. 침실 옆 화장실 배수구 구멍만 열린체였다. 직원을 불렀다. 직원들이 와 방을 살폈고 배솬까지도 살폈다. 배관을 쥐가 파먹어 구멍이 뚫려있었단다. 그리고 쥐는 안보인단다. 쥐가 도망쳤을수도 방에 있을 수도 있다고 했다. 매니져를 불러달라고 했다. 10분 가량 후 매니져가 왔다 매니져는 먼저 사과를 했다. 그러고 보니 제대로 사과를 들은건 처음이었다. 하지만 해결 방안도 제대로 없었다. 이 섬에 1초도 더 있고 싶지 않아 환뷸을 요청했다. 환불은 3-4개월 걸린단다. 그래도 해달라고 했다. 보트는 자신이 불러준단다. 그리고 그날 정신없어 지갑을 못챙겨 룸차지로 했던 점심 저녁을 내준단다. 하지만 나가서 숙소는 알아서 정해라고 했다 환불 리포트를 써달라고 해서 또 써줬다. 보트는 직원들 퇴근용 보트에 같이 타고 시티로 나갔다. 그리고 환불을 못해준다고 지금 들었다. 환장하겠다.

Top chalets en service ... MAAR....

Zeer proper - prachtig uitzicht - top service - MAAR. - er komen dagelijks 300 vooral chinese dagtoeristen - lijkt wel een zoo- in het restaurant lijk je een attractie te zijn voor die mensen. Bovendien zijn in vgl met 3 jaar geleden veel koralen kapot en heel veel plastic ..... zo jammer - dit eiland kan die massa qua vervuiling niet aan....

Fantastiskt boende, trevlig personal, god frukost. Stora nackdelen med Manukan är att ön bombarderas med turister dagtid och att havet och stränderna är en soptipp. Var här 6 dagar varav de 2 sista inte gick att bada pga allt skräp i havet, slutade med att man gick och plockade skräp. Så sorgligt att det finns så stor okunskap bland folket.......

Brilliant hotel. Clean and very comfortable bed. It's like being at home...has character unlike bigger hotel chains. Air con is very good, wifi poor though, TV channel good. Island is very busy from morning till late afternoon with day trippers. There is a cheap restaurant open from morning till 4pm so no need to always use the expensive hotel restaurant. You can snorkel right off the shore and see plenty of fish.

I like the environment of accommodation, very close to nature and quiet. On the other hand, not doing well in sanitation, such as the bed sheets have a lot of smudges and there are many ants in the whole house.

ジェセルトンポイントのIsland hopping社のボートで15分ぐらいでマヌカン島に着きます。同日往復なら30リンギット。違う日の往復なら40リンギット。ホテルのボートもありますが、少し高いです。マヌカン島の船着場がフロントになってます。島にはホテルのレストランの他に、海水浴客用のローカルなレストランが３時までやっています。部屋は最高。お湯もしっかりでます。wif Iはロビーとレストランにありますが、遅くてつながりませんでした。中国人と韓国人ばかり。ボートがひっきりなしに来るので音がうるさいのと、ビーチと島全体的にゴミが落ちていて、思ったより綺麗な島ではなかったのが残念。
