A wonderful place to stay in a great location. A very peaceful area, with friendly locals who didn’t bother you with any door-to-door sales or tugging at your sleeve. It was a perfect base for us as we explored the island for just over a week. I can’t recommend it enough to everyone. There are convenient amenities nearby, such as a fruit shop, a gas station, and regular stores. The nearest bar is about 100 m away, and a pizzeria is about 400 m away. Beautiful 1 bedroom suite with all the amenities anyone could want. The space was modernly decorated and had a very home like feel after a day of hiking. We were welcomed with many chocolates and foods of the islands to sample. The manager was very attentive to any questions we had. The island is beautiful and this living space made our stay all the more enjoyable.

Amazing place, inside and out. Loved the cute and functional kitchenette. We had our own 2 seater table outside the door to eat. Also a table, grill & chairs in the back. Great views of the mountains. The yard is beautifully landscaped with gardens. The owner even left us a little welcome box of a pineapple, 2 fruit drinks, bread and jams. A thoughtful touch and great way for us to conveniently experience the taste of Sao Miguel. Everything looked clean, only complaint is the shower drain is slow.
