This is a big warning to all my fellow travelers. Don’t be filled by the photoshop of Skadarlija, the House of the Greatest in Belgrade is not what it was supposed to be a luxury residence but a dudgeon, a despicable place. It is a shame for hotels.com to allow the access to the scum. We arrived late from Zurich and were shocked. I never saw such a horrendous place and spent only one sleepless night in a lousy smelly duplex that looked like a horror movie rather than a luxury apartment - one out of 9 nights. We lost money, time and energy on this booking. This has never happened in 10 years since I used hotels.com. Just an awful experience that I try to forget!

Cute apt, great location but Noisy

It’s a cute apt with a lot of character. Great location within waking distance to everything. The only drawback is it’s on a street with a lot of restaurants and bars meaning earplugs are require until 3 am. Around 5 am the street cleaners come through. If you planning on staying out late, then this probably isn’t an issue.

What a jewel!! If one were to look up the oldest and most popular restaurants in Belgrade, they would literally be across the street and around the corner. The apartment is wonderful. It is eclectic, like the neighborhood; however one feels like being in 1700s when waking up looking up at the 15 foot ceilings. The host, Andrija was extremely helpful in providing information for me. Thanks1 Thanks, Greg
