Great stay

Hotel was ell located, just minutes away from Taksim/ Istiklal (main shopping, restaurant district). The room (large one bedroom apt) was huge and the staff was very helpful. The only drawback was that the hotel is a little tricky to locate and is situated on a fairly steep slope. However, proximity to metro two stations and the main shopping district makes up for it.

Hidden gem

On arrival, through a seemingly "seedy" area, on a steep uneven tiny street, there was an anxious moment when my Hotels.com booking was not found. The Duty Manager made some calls and within a few minutes it was "found" and everything confirmed. The apartment was a complete and delightful surprise... spacious with kitchen facilities along one wall, two reclining lounges, table & chairs in living area, an adequate bedroom and lovely spacious bathroom [which I'd seen on your website]. The balcony was tiny and unclean, but welcoming, even tho' it looked onto backs of apartments, washing and the "cat parade", as it offered fresh air and big enough to put a chair on, plus clothes washing. There was no soap or cloth or tea towel for cleaning up in the kitchen. The cafe Ulgar Sofrasi was only a short distance up the hill with lovely home cooked food, all day; and the fruit shop around the corner and a deli across the road from that creating a little community were great assets so close. The steep climb, up a back lane, to Taksim Square each time you needed to go out was a bit onerous, but you got used to it. With Istaklil and all its intriguing, mysterious and myriad of back lanes and streets so close was another asset. This property is such good value and worth the little location inadequacies.

Abbiamo trascorso una piacevolissima vacanza al Cihangir Hotel dal 2 al 7 aprile 2015. Al nostro arrivo siamo stati accolti dal personale con molta gentilezza e cordialità. L'appartamento a noi riservato era spazioso e funzionale per la nostra famiglia di 4 persone; i letti erano comodissimi e la biancheria pulita; non siamo stati mai disturbati da alcun rumore preveniente dall'esterno nè dagli appartamenti limitrofi. Il personale, soprattutto il Sig. Mustafa, si è dimostrato sempre disponibile e pronto a rispondere ad ogni nostra richiesta di informazioni e/o a fornire la soluzione ad eventuali problemi.

Very comfortable flat in Cihangir

This is an apartment hotel. The rooms were large and comfortable. Tastefully decorated. There is daily maid service. I think they serve breakfast but we didn't eat. We were able to order in from local restaurants. The street is very quiet, but it is down a very steep hill from the main street. We really enjoyed it. Oh only one English news channel. Satellite TV. The free internet workedgreat. There was everything that you would need in an apartment except for a washing machine, but they offer laundry service.

Wonderful stay at central location in Istanbul

We had a wonderful stay at Collage Chiangir Apart. In every regards it was beyond expectations - the apartments are located central to “everything” – 3 mins walk uphill and you are at Taxim shopping/restaurant street - 4 mins walk downhill and you are at the seaside port were you can take local metro to Sultanahmet (10 mins ride) to see beautiful mosques, the Grand Basar and experience the old town with its many shops and restaurants. We booked the “one bedroom apartment” for our stay, and it was just as the photos on websites – comfortable seating area, a kitchen with the basics to cook light meals and breakfasts, TVs mounted on wall (hdmi/vga flatscreen), a spacious modern bathroom. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Cleaning of room done every 2nd or 3rd day – or something like that. More than enough for an apartment sort of stay. A big thanks to Mr Yavuz for excellent service prior to us coming there. The local area around the hotel is a “back alley” sort of feel. With local shops, cafés, restaurants etc situated nearby. It can be a little bit difficult to find the hotel first time, since it’s a short walk downhill off the “main streets”. A quiet area with no noisy bars or clubs nearby. Just short walk uphill and you are right back in the “action” of city life with the busy street life. All in all both Istanbul and Collage Chiangir Apart comes highly recommended. We loved the say from start to end. We’ll definitively come stay there again.

Wir haben dort 4 Nächte übernachtet. Wenn Sie nach oben laufen, erreichen Sie Taksim Metro Station und im Taksim Platz können Sie Frühstücken. Wenn Sie nach unten laufen erreichen Sie T1 Tramway.
