The cottages were easy to find the space small, but well set out and modern, the bed was horrible, we both had sore backs the next day, the mattress is very worn and you can feel the springs, and needs replacing, I would not recommend staying until they replace the mattress, at least in cottage 6, I also contacted them during our stay, they did not respond to this day 3 days on, unfortunate because they are a good little cottage, they need to step up .

Stayed for 3 nights over New Year...was absolute bliss. Late booking and the communication was brilliant to get it sorted. Cottage was immaculate throughout with everything we needed. Perfect location for walks, and yet only 5 minutes from shops and Durham centre Will be returning again for sure...thank you.
