An excellent occasion in the heart of the old town. At night it could be a bit noisy if you have a room overlooking the square. However, the windows are double glazed and enhanced the experience rather than being a problem.

Excellent location. Walkable to tons of the places that make the Gothic quarter special. Very reasonable walk to the waterfront as well. There is a lively plaza behind the hotel with some kind of band that played most nights but they were quiet by a little after ten and besides them you really couldn’t hear much noise from outside at all as the windows and walls are very well sound proofed. The front desk staff was consistently friendly and helpful in addition to being a solid presence at the door, never unaware of any one coming in or out. The shower is wonderful. The room was cleaned well every day. Overall we were extremely happy with our choice to stay here and would highly recommended it.
