We knew what we were getting when we booked this, as we knew people who had rented a 2 bed suite there long term. It is a bit tired looking and basic but great value for what you get. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Good location and only a short hop in tuk tuk to riverside. Will always stay here again.
The apartment was very large and modern with a kitchen, good AC, modern bathrooms etc. We reserved the apartment w 2 bedrooms, but only 1 was available when we arrived. There was a mix up with our reservation, and since we arrived late in the night, a staff member had gone to sleep in the other bedroom we had reserved. It was an adjoining bedroom with a separate, locked door, so we still had our privacy. But my friend had to sleep on the couch instead of a bed. It was a large couch, which they gave us bedding for, so it wasn't so bed. The general area around the hotel and hotel exterior wasn't the greatest, but probably normal for Phnom Penh. Also the taxi driver had trouble finding the place. We were on a high floor, and once inside the room, all was good, because the room was nice and spacious. There was someone to check us in at 1am, but the language barrier proved difficult when there was a mix up with our reservation.
As I arrived in the late evening they said I did not have my reservation for family of four, for two bedrooms, and that particular room is all full. To remedy the situation they gave us two rooms in two separate floors. Which was not good since we have to separate our family members especially to put two teenagers on a different floor unattended.
Didnt like the hotel very much but we booked it because we like stay in apartment style hotels. The hotels rooms were old and stay were nice but didn't know much about th city as we were tourists. It's close to the central market which is the only positive point.
