The Villas of Amelia Island

Spend the day relaxing at the beach, practising your swing on The Villas of Amelia Island's golf course or pampering yourself at the full-service spa. Then enjoy a meal at one of the holiday home's 9 restaurants. All homes are individually decorated and offer free WiFi and free local calls. For a bit of entertainment, guests will find flat-screen TVs with cable channels, and other amenities include furnished balconies and premium bedding. Housekeeping is available on request.
The Villas of Amelia Island offers 238 air-conditioned accommodations, which are accessible via exterior corridors, and features a safe and coffee/tea makers. Rooms open to furnished balconies. Each accommodation is individually furnished and decorated. Beds feature premium bedding. Flat-screen televisions come with premium cable channels. Bathrooms include a combined bath/shower unit, bathrobes, designer toiletries and complimentary toiletries.

Guests can surf the web using the complimentary wireless Internet access (speed: 25+ Mbps). Business-friendly amenities include desks and telephones; free local calls are provided (restrictions may apply). Additionally, rooms include a hairdryer and an iron/ironing board. Microwaves and hypo-allergenic bedding can be requested. Housekeeping is provided on request.

Guests can play rounds at the 27-hole golf course and enjoy other recreation facilities including 15 outdoor tennis courts. 2 outdoor swimming pools are on site along with an indoor pool. In addition to a kids' pool, other recreational amenities include a hot tub, a sauna and a 24-hour fitness centre.

The recreational activities listed below are available either on-site or nearby; fees may apply.

The Spa at Omni Amelia Island has 20 treatment rooms, including rooms for couples. Services include deep-tissue massages, sports massages, Swedish massages and facials. A variety of treatment therapies are provided, including hydrotherapy and reflexology.

The spa is open daily. Guests under 18 years old are not allowed in the spa.

The Omni resort is very impressive. The pool area and amenities were great. The shuttle service to bring you around the property was very convenient. Our room at the Villa though was very tired and in dire need of some updates (flooring, bathroom fixtures, sliding door, patio area, etc). Other than the room itself, everything else we experienced was top-notch.

This is our fourth annual trip to Amelia to attend the concourse, we stay at the villas every time, it’s quiet it’s clean. You have full access to the Omni itself in all of its facilities, and they have buses that take you to the concourse every day.

The Omni is a usually great place to stay and there is always something to do. Our unit was in need of some service. The stairwell, patio, and pool area was dirty with leaves and moss. It needed a good pressure wash. The bedroom carpets were dirty.

The villa was just a room and a bathroom. Most villas have a small kitchenette but this does not. The villa is the farthest you can get from the main resort, but that is actually kind of nice if you like privacy. There is a smaller pool which we thought was fantastic. The view of the ocean is spectacular and the beach walks are even better.
