Nice boutique shopping in the hotel lobby and a fantastic pool. Unfortunately, there were so many kids in the pool so I think the pool should open at 6:00 am so adults can swim laps. I went to swim laps at the opening of the pool(7:00am) and by 7:20am kids were filtering in to use the pool.
We went to check out the small ski area nearby which was 2 minutes from the hotel. The hotel was great, friendly staff. The only issue was the heater was a bit noisy when it kicked on. Otherwise, the area is lovely with Lake Pepin, river bluffs and a couple state parks near by as well. I’d love to see it in fall.
My husband and I went here for a weekend getaway and had a jacuzzi suite. The first night we were there the motor in the jacuzzi seized up and they were more than accommodating. They gave us a discount on the room and had someone come out the next day to look at it. It was unable to be fixed at the time so they gave us 4 options for jacuzzi suites we were able to move into. They made sure the room was clean prior to us being moved and they even gave us the Grunkpyy Old Men movies to watch for the night. I would stay here again!
We had a very enjoyable time at Wabasha. Staying at the Amercinn was great. The rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. Due to covid there was no hot breakfast but the motel had brown bags made up with egg bacon and croissant that could be warmed in our rooms. They also had yogurt and water. Would recommend this motel to others.
Check in was quick and easy. Very clean lobby and room. Kids loved the pool and hot tub. The breakfast bags were really good I didn’t expect the breakfast sandwich to be tasty and it was very good.
Checkin went well. Room was good. The pool area was amply stocked with towels and had basketball hoops. Take your own small rubber ball because they may not have one.
There was a VERY generous bagged breakfast available including a breakfast sandwich to microwave. It was better than the last 3 hotels I stayed at.
It was a minor irritation that our entrance to the building was on the far backside and neither key worked directly after checkin. It was a hot day and we were so ready to get into our room.
The hotel had a fun popup boutique in the lobby and an additional room.
It was not walkable to the downtown area. The National Eagle Center was our destination.
