Excellent location in a lovely safe neighbourhood, with cute eateries mostly patronized by locals . Close to main attractions ( KonigsAllee, MedienHafen, Rhein Promenade , Loretto street reachable on foot in 15 =20 minutes. Very convenient to walk to the Main Train Station , Flixbus station and the stop of local subeway 11 which shuttles to the airport . Clean well equipped room with kitchenette - good for basic self catering. A couple of supermarkets and a shopping mall within a reasonable walking distance. We spent 10 days and it really felt like home

Host was very nice and communicative. However price compared to value, and difference between photos and reality is quite large. Apartment is rather run down with stains in the wall and blanket, not very welcoming. Fresh paint and a clean carpet (floor) without stains would likely do a lot. Again, bed and towels were clean with no complaints. Also in terms of sound, very loud and could hear neighbours staying at same hotel.

Absolute nightmare of a place to stay. We booked with a baby and there was an option for a crib, instead of this we got a fold out bed. We was on the 5th floor and the loft was broken so had to carry a pram and baby up the stairs and back down. It was filthy and smelly. The room above was having a party and singing until late evening. There was people shouting throughout the hotel and singing all night. Glass bottles being thrown down the concrete stairs. People banging on the bedroom door at 1.30am asking for a phone charger. This hotel is ok if you are on a stag do. But for the cost you can get much more value for money. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!

Nice rooms and at a fair price. Not far to walk to/from city centre and Altstadt. Great for transport links as not far from main train station and only 20mins from the airport. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Will book again.

A stay to remember

My stay was very well and the hotel is located in city center closed to all shops and train station, I extnded my stay for one more night and just sent a message to hotel to keep us in the same room and the response was no problems, i recommend this place for family, a couple or even for some looking for a quite place, I'm glad i chosen this hotel

I was put into an annex beside their industrial trash cans. Dark graffiti stairwell. Bathroom tiles moldy. No working heating in bathroom. TV did not have any signal. When asked to be moved into the main building they simply said I was already in their best room. Worst stay ever.

Not the best bed.. pillows were awful I had to stuff the pillow case with some jumpers to actually fill it up. They did provide me with one more (I asked for 2 as there was 2 of us but I don’t think they had any more spares as it was fully booked during my visit). There is a room downstairs you can help yourself to extra towels, toiletries, iron ect ect which is nice but it wasn’t stocked very well. Balcony is shared so couldn’t sleep or leave the room in the day time with the window open as they open enough for someone to reach the handle and break it. Kitchen area is brand new and great, tv worked great too. My bedside lamp was hanging off by the wire, but the other one was fine. All the doors are very stiff so you might think the code doesn’t work but you just need to really push down and open hard. Front door handle probably only has a few months left before it actually falls off tbh hahaha. Lift was a bit glitchy and didn’t always work but we were only in the 1st floor so wasn’t too bad for us. Common area downstairs is a bit random but good if you’re travelling as a group. No reception or area to leave your luggage. Otherwise, it was good - loved the location for the weekend.

I'm feeling generous 4*

As I'm the first reviewer I feel I must be generous. Overall the condition of the room is good, the bed is comfy but the room is very small. I'm not a fan of unmanned receptions and although I managed to get in there was someone outside who was struggling. The lift was broken a bit of pain when you have 50kg to lug up the stairs but fortunately I was on the first floor. The kitchen is modern and all the utensils you need but instructions on how to use the hob would have been good. The bathroom sink was not clean at all and both soap dispensers were empty which would be the main reason for me giving them 3 stars but as I had my own shower gel I'll go with 4 stars but please clean that sink it was grim (I'll forgo posting the photographic evidence in case readers have sensitivities, ps I used the kitchen sink to clean my teeth it was that bad)

Rude staff, terrible condition

The staff was so unfriendly. We arrived 20mins before the check in time. We couldn’t find any reception and the door was locked, passcode was not activated. So we knocked the door, a staff came with so angry face because we arrived too early and knocked the door. We stayed at 5th floor, but the lift was broken, so we had to walk upstairs all day in 33 degree weather. There is no even air conditioner in the room. Sunlight was boiling directly the room through the windows, it was too hot and inconvenient to stay. If I knew that the lift did not work, I would not book it. The hotel left a message ‘sorry for inconvenience’, of course ‘text’ is the cheapest way they can do. There should be other reimbursement for this uncomfort. The balcony is connected to the other room, so you are exposed to risks, encountering other guest can come into your room through the balcony.

Me gustó la ubicación y el personal es amable. Pero la regadera tiene moho en el piso, el radiador no funciona y está lleno de polvo. Las almohadas están llenas de bolas y muy delgadas. En realidad la cama están llenas cómoda pero la sábana de cajones se safa todo el tiempo.
