Perfect Holiday at Manolis Apartments

We loved the apartments. We had the pool to ourselves most days. Apartments are clean, & run by the lovely Maria with the brilliant barman Kostas who was a star. It is about 12min walk to Malia old town & all the nightlife, so near enough to go into, but you still get a quiet nights sleep. The pool is fab, loads of beds, everything is spotless & the food & bar prices were excellent. We would 100% go back here.

Manolis Apartments

Manolis Apartments sijaitsee Malian keskustan lähellä. Lähimpiin tavernoihin ja kauppoihin on noin 300 m:n kävelymatka. Tavernoiden valikoima on runsas. Kaupat ovat tyypillisiä turisti/matkamuistomyymälöitä. Lähin kauppa on matkailijan kannalta kohtuullisesti varustettu elintarvike/taloustarvike kauppa. Saatavana myös tuoretta leipää. Kauppakatu ei ole leveydellä pilattu. Paikallisten tapa pysäköidä autonsa tuottaa toisinaan liikenteellisiä pullonkauloja, joihin on näköjään totuttu ja siksi ne eivät muodostu ylittämättömiksi ongelmiksi. Jäädään odottelemaan kunnes vastaantulija on päässyt esteen ohi. Muuten liikennekulttuuri poikkeaa melkoisesti siitä mihin Suomessa on totuttu. Manolis Apartments on rakennettu ilmeisesti entiselle pellolle tai vastaavalle koska vieressä kasvatetaan hunajamelooneja, perunaa ja aloea. Kukko herättelee todennäkösesti aamulla ennen auringonnousua. Ei kovin häiritsevästi. Viereisellä tontilla on rautakauppa. Todennäköisesti paikkakunnan monipuolisin. Kiinteistössä on uima-allasalue, jossa tarjoillaan myös aamupalaa sitä tilanneille. Kiinteistö on hyvässä kunnossa, kolmikerroksinen ja ilmeisesti kunnostettu hiljattain. Pienehkö parkkialue on välittömästi ulko-oven edessä. Paikalle löytää navigaattorin avustuksella kunhan syöttää läheisen kadun osoitteen. Opaste päätieltä on, mutta se jää helposti huomaamatta.

Quiet place close to all commodities

Quiet hotel with a very nice swimming pool. Balcony with sea view. Restaurants, bars and supermarket nearby (walking distance). Staff not always present at the desk but easily reachable by phone. No toiletries or hair dryer in the room.
