Christchurch hotels

This is a fabulous well equipped apartment in central Christchurch. An added bonus was the in room washer and dryer.

This reconditioned grand Government building must surely be the benchmark for classical accommodation it that's your style. All the grand elements are there, including tall doors and ceilings and grand staircase, but the rooms are spacious and so grand you'll want to spend your entire holiday there and not move on. Our room was on two levels with two king bedrooms on a mezzanine level, full dining table, upstairs and downstairs bathroom, full kitchen and cooking facilities. The front bar is a gem for breakfast, lunch, or drinks, indoors and outdoors seating. It is located on Cathedral Square with the damaged cathedral sitting there to remind you of what the city has been. Easy walk to the city and art gallery precinct and restaurants and museum and park. So elegant you'll feel pampered. Friendly staff from the front desk to the support staff working in the hallways. Barber shop on the premises. Gym and pool. A real benchmark, believe me, in classic, elegant accommodation. Prices when we stayed were very reasonable indeed. Don't miss this one, or the opportunity to see the resilience of Christchurch.

It is nice and just front of beach. All clean and comfort hotel. Strongly recommend.

This was a great Stay that started out as an overnighter and turned into three nights where all that I had to do was talk to the motel and it was arranged.
