We stayed in this Alba apartment for about 1 week. The apartment was beautifully renovated, spacious, airy and comfortable. Everything you could think of or need was available. The 360 degree views of the surrounding vineyards is amazing and only gets better during the day. Eleanor and Glyn are generous, knowledgeable and friendly hosts. I definitely recommend this property.

If ever we need to return to Northern Italy there is only one place we would return to - Cascina del Noce. Our stay here was the final stay of a five week visit to Northern Italy and we never imagined before we got here what awaited us. The whole package accommodation, scenery and wonderful hosts Eleanor and Glynn have made our visit an extremely pleasant and memorable one. We explored the area and around every bend we were speechless at the outstanding beauty of this area. One of our favourite days was spent at the panoramic lookout overlooking Castiglione Tinella and surrounds enjoying a picnic and bottle of wine. A must do. Another must do is a visit to the local restaurant Campagne Verde and be spoilt by the lovely Mirella. Ristorante del Belbo de Bardon in San Marzano Oliveto was a place we came across and enjoyed a delicious lunch. Unfortunately we must head home but hope to be back again soon and highly recommend Cascina del Noce.

It was a pleasure to stay in a place and with people so connected to the history of the area. The local recommendations were invaluable and added to the richness of our experience of the Roero. Many other valued services are offered by the hosts, and we recommend confirming costs before finalising. The kitchen is fine for modest meals, and there are many good dining options close by. Gianni and Maria Vittoria's warm hospitality was tremendous and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in their wonderful villa. Note, laundry is via washing service in main house.
