Portovenere apartments

This was a fantastic stop along a beautiful part of the Italian Coast. The house was amazing along with the views but be prepared for narrow stairs.

The apartment is new, spacious, well thought out in design. All modern appliances, bedding is fantastic, bathroom facilities are excellent. Kitchen is well appointed and stocked with staple pantry requirements. Location is great, you are in the heart of town with many eateries and shopping near by Hosts are excellent, prompt communicative and informative. If you're coming by car there is a car park nearby with 2 hour paid parking, after you dump luggage you can park about a 1km walk away for free. Unlike me remember to bring documents on arrival for local police requirements as the hosts have to submit this as well as some cash for a local travel tax. Travelling to Cinque Terra is best by ferry 42 euros for the day pass - earliest ferry is 9am and you will be able to visit three of the five towns which leaves you enough time to have lunch a swim and walk about, also you will need to buy the walking pass which is 17.50 euros to walk the new sea ledge trail from the three southern towns - it's an expensive day out but worth it

Fantastic location right in the heart of the historical village. Easy to walk to and around area. Enough room for 2 Adults and 2 kids. Great bakery close by. Fantastic host. Highly recommend.

Well located on the flat part of a very hilly coastline. Three flights of stairs are a challenge but I can navigate stairs better than gradient.

We loved Casa Magonza. As two couples it had everything we could have asked for, plus spectacular coastal views. The in-person check-in was personable and covered everything. Monterosso itself is has all the bars and restaurants you need and serves as a good base for exploring all of Cinque Terre. The steps may be a challenge for some so consider a porter on arrival, especially if you have large or heavy luggage. Highly recommended.
