Amazing location and property, exactly as how you see it in the pictures. Roberta was responsive to any questions and was there to meet us on arrival to the apartment. Would definitely recommend this place

This apartment is in the perfect location. Walking distance to the centre. Very clean, beautiful apartment and the hosts were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location! Excellent and informative host!

This is a two bedroom apartment on the first floor (i.e. one level up).The stairs are wide with railings and the stairs are in good condition.The entry is secured and you are safe within the building (which is two storeys high). That said, Prato and the Datini Apartments area is very safe. The two bedrooms are quite large with large Queen size beds with clothing cupboards, desk and chair and TV in each. The TVs are Smart TVs so you can use your apps (we were also able to access Netflix and Prime free among a wide range of apps). Free to air Italian TV is also available. The bathroom is a good size with shower (above head on roof shower head and hand held both available in an "in bath" arrangement).The taps simple to use. Good size sink and mirror and all the toiletries you might need.Toilet and bidet. The kitchen and dining area, while compact include all your cooking needs. Gas cook top and oven. Large refrigerator. Kettle, toaster, microwave oven, Italian coffee expresso makers with coffee provided (3 sizes). All the cutlery, plates and glasses etc that you need are available. The dining table has four chairs. There is a good size laundry with washing machine, sink, iron and ironing board. There is an outdoor setting on a verandah out the back. In a great location - this lovely apartment 150 metres from St Francesco Piazza with supermarket, restaurants. Francesco the owner is a great host. Generous with his time and information. Our plan was to secure a well located and comfortable flat (apartment) in Florence and live there for three weeks. Unpack, settle in and come and go as we would if we lived there. This worked so well and we were delighted with our stay. In fact the flat was a highlight of the trip. So well located, stunning views of the Ponte Vecchio and the constant movement of happenings on the Arno River. As a family closely associated with the sport of rowing we were delighted in seeing so much activity with the rowing club opposite. The flat was perfectly arranged and all facilities were available . Comfortable, and tastefully furnished. The kitchenette was quite adequate and well provided with implements. The large double bed was superbly comfortable. We were hosted graciously, welcomed, and made to feel that assistance was always available. A lovely flat, superbly located with access to the old part of Florence. Restaurants close at hand as are the antiquities of the city.

Lovely historical building right in the heart of Prato. Marco had fantastic communication with us and we were met on arrival and given recommendations for local restaurants and nearby attractions. The host could not have been more helpful and checked on us during our stay. Highly recommended.

I have stayed in Florence several times previously and always at a hotel. This time, thought we would try an apartment. Great choice. Pier is a great host and from the very beginning, communicates very proactively. Every question was answered in lightening speed. The apartment is large and well appointed. Separate bedroom, Lounge/Kitchen combined, timber floors, modern bathroom. Pier met us as soon as we stepped out of the taxi and helped us up with our luggage. He then spent time explaining every aspect of the apartment, WiFi, appliances, lightening, etc. The apartment is fantastically located, a short walk from anything, just down the street from the train station, about 10 minutes to the Duomo, from there, everything is 5 - 10 minutes. In the immediate area are a host of restaurants. There is a supermarket right next door. Compared to a hotel, it is about 25% of of the cost and twice the size of the room. It is so nice to have access to basic cooking and clothes washing facilities. I would highly recommend this apartment to visitors to Florence.
