Haarlem apartments

Elizabeth’s apartment was perfect for our week in Amsterdam. The check in was easy - we were met by Elizabeth who explained the apartment’s facilities. She was a very warm & informative host. The heating lead very efficient & having a washing machine after traveling for 4 weeks was great. We found the bed to be very comfortable. The is slightly below street level with only 1 step - making it very easy to get luggage in & out.

Outstanding stay in a brilliant neighbourhood within walking distance to everything. The apartment had everything we needed and Sebastian was the perfect host. Can’t speak highly enough of him, the apartment, the neighbourhood and the whole experience. Amsterdam is a gem.

The property was clean and comfortable, located very conveniently within the city to do our sightseeing. Most locations were within walking distance, and it was lovely to walk out the door and be met with the canal side. Our hosts were very accommodating, communicative and friendly. Definitely recommend!

JW & JC went above and beyond. They are fabulous hosts - attentive, engaging, caring and thoughtful. The apartment is stylish, roomy, super comfortable, great bed, and located in a wonderful part of Amsterdam. A short stroll to an incredible market, and nearby are restaurants, cafes, bars and shopping. We highly recommend them and their apartment. We loved it and them.

This is a wonderful apartment which is so well thought out in terms of what guests need for a great stay. The apartment is spacious and thoughtfully designed, in a great location with lovely views over the canal and delightful garden, very well equipped with equipment, information and provisions provided by the host. The host is so warm and welcoming and was in regular contact both before and during our stay. Guests however, need to be aware that there are 4 steep flights of stairs to the apartment, though our host assisted with baggage. Overall, a lovely host and apartment!

The location is unbeatable, the restaurant downstairs is awesome (we ate/drank there three times) as are a number of places nearby. There is a bike rental shop next door and a supermarket just down the street which were both very useful for the duration of our stay. The host was great and explained everything in detail when we arrived and made some good reccommendations about where to go and eat. We of course loved the touches of beer/sparkling wine that we could enjoy upon arrival along with some snacks. The bed is also super comfy. I absolutely recommend staying here! It was one of highlights of our holiday so far.

Els and Anneke could not have been more helpful - our train was 1hr late so they continued checking for our arrival. The apartment was perfect for our five day stay, complete with food treat such as eggs, yoghurt and fruit and croissants and even a welcome wine. At the end of our stay Els was kind enough to take us to the Bus stop. Could not find anything negative to mention. Hopefully will be back

Our hosts were delightful & nothing was too much trouble for them. The apartment was so warm, clean & comfortable in a fantastic location. Perfect for couples. They even went out of their way to accommodate us when we were disrupted by the French train strike. Thank you again Astrid & Rick .
