My school friend and I, now 65, visited Ahu Ahu Beach villas for a chance to catch up on old times and to explore the Taranaki area. We were enchanted by the rustic style of the villas and the quality of the furnishings and linen. There is a window seat looking out towards the wide sea view where we sat and talked for hours enjoying the sunset and watching the bird life hopping around on the grass. It is a quiet, relaxing setting. It was a short walk down to the rugged west coast beach where there were few people, a lone fisherman, a couple walking their dog and some horse riders cantering along the sand. A great place to get together with friends and enjoy a special part of New Zealand.

Such a beautiful location, with a beach out the front that was quite secluded. A very beautiful part of the world! Seth was great to communicate and made it an enjoyable experience for our family. Thanks Seth! It was also very clean! We had Christmas here as a family which was great. We did expect it to be more private than it was, so we had to make sure we kept the kids noise down as there are villas right beside you sharing the outside area/home and the view. So if coming as a family for a longer stay like us, be mindful of this. The sharing of the bbq with the next door villa made it a bit uncomfortable when organising meal times so if I had any suggestion it would be to have your own bbq. Thanks again for a special stay.

Emmaculately clean and modern, perfect for a short stay. Quiet location and close to beach. Good communication with friendly hosts. Would book again 👍

We found the property clean, tidy and in a great location. Nearby is an excellent walking path, a short distance to the swimming pools, shops, restaurants and the ocean.
