Perfect Place to Stay Awhile
The studio apartment Unit 2 at Via Marsala 11 was perfect for me and would also be perfect for a couple. It was well furnished with comfortable bed, large table and chairs, flat screen tv and good speed on the wifi. The galley kitchen including oven and cooktop, under counter fridge with a small freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave. The bathroom was spacious and clean with plenty of good lighting and mirrors. The washing machine was also a dryer and detergent was provided. On arrival I was met by friendly and informative Benedetta who explained features of the apartment and took my payment. A folder on the table was full of information and contact numbers. When I thought I had a problem with the kitchen oven they had a person come to check it out soon after I called It was in a wonderful area, very close enough to the main tourist attractions and a ten minute walk to the train station (900 metres.) The two supermarkets were a short 200 metres away and eateries were even closer. Just a note about location: Via Marsala is part of the University quarter. The students are a bit noisy but not unruly except for the profuse graffiti covering most walls and surfaces in the area. I mean profuse! It is everywhere in that area but I am guessing that it is just too expensive to clean it up or deter more graffiti so they leave it. Do not let it deter you. The area is quite safe and historic. As a solo female traveler I felt very safe throughout my stay in Bologna.

Bologna
We absolutely loved our apartment & despite being on the 2nd floor without a lift we had a great time. The facilities, the position (so close to the old town centre) were great. The apartment has a concierge & was able to order taxis etc, help us with the heating etc. l would recommend this apartment.
