Simply the best
Wonderful in every respect, best staff ever, wonderful restaurant at base of hotel, had most meals there actually, best view ever to across the river to Porto. Spacious,clean well appointed apartment. Close to port houses and river boat transportation, close to chair lift. 15-20 minute walk to old town. 5 minutes to bridge. Would book this again in a heart beat. Didn’t want to leave….

A Wonderful Experience
Our experience in this hotel was absolutely wonderful.
The staff were wonderful from the moment we arrived and couldn't have been more helpful (but not intrusively so).
The hotel is spacious and architecturally beautiful and even has a lovely smell.
Our apartment was only one of the standard ones - but was so luxurious! Two bathrooms is always a bonus and we loved the little kitchen and separate lounge. Good air-conditioning and (heaven!) a washer and dryer!
The location is absolutely central and in walking distance to everything.
The parking lot is secure and easy to get in and out of.
My only suggestion would be to call ahead (they all speak beautiful English) and ask where to park when checking in. Parking illegally in the centre of Porto can be a bit of a unnerving experience!

Very nice apartment
Lovely roomy apartment that sleeps 4, right in town close to everything. Miguel was charming, but failed to mention the 5 flights stairs, bit much for the elderly.

Thanks Joana for an amazing stay. Comfortable room very spacious, comfortable bed We didn’t use the kitchen facilities. The apartment has a phone for use while you’re there with 30 mins of international calls per day, while we didn’t think we’d use that we called our elderly fathers who don’t have smart phones. The phone also has personalised apps with restaurant recommendations giving phone numbers for reservations as well as map directions- it nearly went flat after a day out and about. Joana was so helpful and couldn’t do enough for you- she even wanted to escort me to the local post office for stamps just so I found it. She directed us to the BEST Portuguese tarts that were close by and they were amazing. Parking is close by and there are a few options. The market over the road is being renovated but only during day hrs and didn’t impact our stay at all. Would definitely stay again.
