Castellana Grotte apartments

We had a great stay in Monopoli at Sante's property. The location is perfect and house is really comfortable and well appointed. Its close to the old town and a great bast to explore Puglia. Thanks Sante 🙂

We had a wonderful 5 days in U Carvutt. It so happened that our stay coincided with the Festa San Vito. We had boat parades with relics of San Vito in the bay below our balcony and marching band and religious processions in the street outside our front door. The location of the apartment is fantasic but particularly so on festival weekend. As has been noted in other reviws, the age, design and location of the apartment meant that there was some salt residue/dust falling from the old stone ceiling over the 5 days but that was insignificant compared to thebeauty of the view and position. We ate breakfast on the balcony each morning and had dinner or drinks on the balcony each evening whilst listening to the saxophone from the restaurant below. Marialessandra left us a welcom bottle of wine and some typical Puglian snack which were much appreciated. We would definitely stay there again. Was a highlight of our holiday!
