Valongo apartments

Wonderful in every respect, best staff ever, wonderful restaurant at base of hotel, had most meals there actually, best view ever to across the river to Porto. Spacious, clean well appointed apartment. Close to port houses and river boat transportation, close to chair lift. 15-20 minute walk to old town. 5 minutes to bridge. Would book this again in a heart beat. Didn’t want to leave….

This place was even better than it looks in the pictures. From the second I booked I was welcomed. When I arrived the staff were kind and helpful. I was escorted to my room. The room was fabulous. The shower was hot and full and the best I’ve had in Europe. The room was a mini apartment with a separate well appointed kitchen. It was quiet and the bed was comfortable and luxurious. The location was excellent - across from the market. Do yourself a favour and book this place for your stay in Porto. My only regret is that I had a flight booked, so couldn’t stay longer.

We had the chance to visit Porto for four days. Pause apartments is conveniently located near public transport and a 25min walk to the o 'llkd town. The apartments a newly renovated and very stylish.

Lovely roomy apartment that sleeps 4, right in town close to everything. Miguel was charming, but failed to mention the 5 flights stairs, bit much for the elderly.
