Claino Con Osteno apartments

Loved everything about this loft apartment in Varenna. Our communication with Ettore was excellent and he was extremely helpful with everything before and during our stay. The apartment is perfectly located in Varenna and has everything one requires. The upstairs bed and bedroom layout was fantastic with the most comfortable pillows we have experienced in Europe. The sofa bed was also very comfortable. It was a joy to stay in such a cosy and comfortable apartment. We will definitely return so as to experience this town in the Summer months when everything is open. The upside to visiting in Winter was the peace and serenity without crowds.

We had a fabulous 4 nights…it was a steep walk to the property, but well worth it. The accomodation had loads of outdoor seating areas which you could then sit with a drink and admire the gorgeous view. We also loved on arrival that the glasses set up for the chilled bottle of Prosecco. Must also comment on how good the communication was with the agent - made the check in and any queries the agent very easy.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay in this apartment. We were met by Cristina who was very welcoming and helpful. The apartment is exactly as pictured. Great sized rooms and a well equipped kitchen for what we needed. We spent many hours on the balcony soaking up the view. It is just a short stroll into the centre of the city. We also organised a 2 hour sailing experience with Bellagio Sailing which is a must do. From start to finish this was a very memorable stay for us. Carlo is a very pleasant and responsive host and I highly recommend staying in this apartment.

We had a lovely stay at Francesca's in Bellagio. The house felt more like a home and we settled in nicely. In future, I think we would stay somewhere a bit closer in to the town centre as it is quite a long and hilly walk on a busy road to get to the hub of Bellagio. There is an option to purchase a walk through the Villa (which is beautiful however adds up if you are doing so numerous times a day). Nonetheless if you are looking for a bit more of a secluded vibe, this place would be perfect. You have a gorgeous cafe NeNe a very short walk and we had some lovely dinners at Riverside Snack Bar. We found a nice swimming spot by the lake not far from the house... which we were very grateful for as it was incredibly hot and we were missing a swimming pool. I hope in future the outdoor furniture might be upgraded. My husband and I both ripped our pants on exposed nails sitting on the brown lounges!

Loved our stay in bellagio. Everything was just as expected and lake Como way exceeded our expectations. Would come back and stay here. Host was very attentive and helpful.
