Barney View cottage rentals

We drove down in the evening and arrived in the dark. The house (an old school classroom for the living space).was really nice. Well appointed, with two large bedrooms. We woke up to spectacular views in three directions to different mountains. Hikes at Mount Barney are only 15 minutes away so we did Lower Portals one day and had a chilly but lovely swim in the gorge. The next day we drove a little further the Queen Mary Falls and Daggs Falls. So many interesting things to explore around the property. A lot of history that would be good to learn more about. Cows pass up the road in the afternoon heading to be milked. We enjoyed cheeseboards and wine watching the beautiful sunsets. Great place!

Relaxing getaway, generous continental breakfast, cozy ,clean , comfortable cottage. Beautiful lotus pond and green garden. Fantastic ever changing view of Mt Barney.

Great view, enjoyable stay, well setup. My wife and I were satisfied. The only thing we noted was the dishwasher always threw error codes. Would recommend others we know stay here, and we would love to come back
