A perfect location for a holiday stay. Wonderful hosts. You have got to go there just to try out Grandma's Feather Bed. We would be back there tomorrow if we could. Plenty of birdlife and nice gardens.

The cottage is part of a property with beautifully manicured gardens, a tranquil haven. Being one of only 3 cottages it is quiet and private. The cottage itself is very well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Linen was beautiful. The hostess's 'guest guide' was great. She was very friendly and communicative. We used several of her suggestions for outings and lunches. My patner and I loved sitting out on the deck with a platter and watching the birds. Overall one of our favourite places in NZ. We would love to stay again.

Close to nearest village and s great hideaway. Very comfortable and highly recommended.

We had a lovely few nights at the Bush hut. Matakana is a charming town and the surrounding beaches are gorgeous. We loved Goat Island. We were very happy at the hut. It's very well appointed and comfortable. A very relaxing stay. Thank you
