Western Lake cottage rentals

Spacious cottage with everything we needed. Very quiet, comfortable beds, fireplace easy to use and warmed rooms well. Enjoyed greeting the cows and picking a few cooking apples.

Here for a wedding for 3 days great location and lovely house with all the comforts and excellent location!

A very nice place to stay. - both the cottage and the township of Greytown. The cottage had everything we wished for, and that wood fire was so welcome. It was really close to the action on Main Street, and made those shopping and coffee/ cake trips very easy to do. We can recommend a short drive to the Fensham Bush Reserve for a delightful bush walk among birdsong, and babbling brooks. We promise ourselves to return and discover more of the Wairarapa in the near future. - thanking you.

Railway Cottage was clean, comfortable, full of charm and in a perfect location. Easy walk in to the town centre, shops and restaurants. The bikes were a great bonus for getting to the wineries. Checkin was seamless and communication with Cheryl was easy and Cheryl responded quickly.

Cottage had not been serviced by the time of our check-in at 2pm. The cleaner arrived soon after the owner was contacted. The issue for our group of 70+ year olds was the first step of the entry steps. Too high off the ground to go up and down. One of us misjudged it, landing heavily & strained his ankle.

Lake Ferry is a beautiful place to stay and Loburn Bach is conveniently located on the main road to Onoke Spit. Andy was very welcoming and friendly when we arrived. The bach was warm and cosy and had everything that we required. It is sited in a quiet location and the surrounding garden was lovely.

Our favourite place so far on our 6 month holiday around NZ. Lots of special touches, like a nice bath with accessories. Nice outdoor fenced area for our dogs, good lighting around the property, although the light switches were non-intuitive. We worked them out eventually. Recommended.

Beautifully renovated historic cottage, very well equipped and clean and comfortable. All the facilities one needs and the owner was good to communicate with. Down a nice quiet street but only a 10 minute walk into the centre of town. Greytown has a really nice vibe to it and I would highly recommend staying at the Country Bliss Cottage
