The little cottage has been renovated to a quality standard. Very quiet and peaceful, with 1 min walk to the river for swimming and fishing.Damian and Tracy are beautiful hosts, inviting us to help ourselves in the orchard, glasshouse, and even eggs from the free range chickens.Masterton is only a few minutes drive on a good road. We fully recommend Northfield Farm Cottage. It's so relaxing. Excellent value for money

A very nice place to stay. - both the cottage and the township of Greytown. The cottage had everything we wished for, and that wood fire was so welcome. It was really close to the action on Main Street, and made those shopping and coffee/ cake trips very easy to do. We can recommend a short drive to the Fensham Bush Reserve for a delightful bush walk among birdsong, and babbling brooks.
We promise ourselves to return and discover more of the Wairarapa in the near future. - thanking you.

Wonderful for a short summer stay. Our 6 year old loved the pool as did we on the 29 degree and very humid day - also appreciated the fans! We didn’t realise there was no linen or towels provided but the host did inform us of this before we arrived so we were able to arrange some from friends…visiting from Melbourne and loved our short stay.

Excellent location close to supermarket and shops. Good ambiance, great shower. Perhaps a longish narrow mirror next to TV would give a more spacious feel, but most of all as a convenient cloths dressing aid. Nice hosts and very private and cosy
